Soloing: Dorkins Does Dailies Part 24
Dorkins continues the dailies for his rep grind with The Wyrmrest Accord. This time he needs to take down a few dragons near the top of the Nexus. Does he have the right stuff to be an Ace? Find out what happens in this episode of Project Lore.

By Grido on Monday, July 27th, 2009 at 1:01 pm
Easy mode is get 5 stacks of 3 Revivify before you start then
1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 5, 3 (making sure Revivify is always at 5 stacks)
By the riddla on Monday, July 27th, 2009 at 1:10 pm
i realy hope that some thing else comes on soon :0
By Kyle on Monday, July 27th, 2009 at 1:27 pm
boooooorring, even dorkins looks kinda bored in this one. number 24 is way too many of one thing to be doing every day. gotta get new stuff, do some bg episodes, or arenas even
By DeeJayDieSeL on Monday, July 27th, 2009 at 1:45 pm
hmmm i posted a HUGE comment and i dont see it appear… is there a limit to comment length?
By DeeJayDieSeL on Monday, July 27th, 2009 at 1:47 pm
hmmm you know what i’m curious about? The PL crew’s stories.
Like i want (even if its in text, although i would 100000% rather see video) an interview where all the guys answer these questions:
1) What was it like the first time you played WoW? How did it feel to ding lvl 4 and get new abilities?
2) What was your first dungeon experience and what is you Fave dungeon Classic WoW, TBC, WOTLK. What dungeon do you feel like is meant for you to just shred to pieces?
3) What was your first Epic drop and how long did it server you? Or your first item set?
4) ~~~for those who have a diff guy on the show as their main compared to what they originally started with~~~ What was your first character and what made you reconsider.
5) ~~~follow-up to 4) ~~~ What makes your current main special (besides its ideal for the PL show?)
6) Did you ever Leeroy/wipe a raid/dungeon on purpose? Go on, explain in detail
7) What was your greatest feat in WoW? A spectacular DPS sweep? A incredible 20 pull of same lvl monster as yourself? A brilliant 3 vs 1 PVP where you are the 1
By DeeJayDieSeL on Monday, July 27th, 2009 at 1:49 pm
9) What was the most frustrating experience in WoW? (ex: drunk player that is playing a mage but thinks he is a rogue and is wearing all greens and is raid leader…. just an example
)
10) a) DORKINS: what was your first pet, and what was the pet that served you the best while leveling 10 - 60, 60 - 70, 70 - 80.
10) b) LYLE: Were you always prot? We’ve seen you gather so much off-set armor in TBC, did you ever go arms or fury? how was it?
10) c) ALEX: ummmm….. love your hair dew LOL; What are your plans for DrDark and Shnoobins?
10) d) JUGGY: you PWN, just looking at your character raises so many questions, Have you always PWNED? were you lvl 19, 29 twinks?Or did you get the taste of it with the totally rad guild?
10) e) Jeff: Are we ever going to see you as prot? Lyle has some off set gear to do DPS
By DeeJayDieSeL on Monday, July 27th, 2009 at 1:51 pm
11) Can you please show us the earliest vids/pics of you characters? Like all i have left from my guy is this front page screenie: http://thottbot.com/i9475
12) Did you ever wear a dress just because of the stats (or fun for or a lost bet?)
Well thats all i can think of for now hope you guys @ PL will consider this and this can be a great video interview or text interview w\e
By DeeJayDieSeL on Monday, July 27th, 2009 at 1:57 pm
oh and regarding the DDD # 24
I must admit that seeing you in a tight spot where you need to focus is a bit more interesting to watch
PUG’s and PVP seems like really good video material, methinks.
By Waru on Monday, July 27th, 2009 at 2:06 pm
GOD DAMNIT! i would rather them play their horde characters for a few episodes rather than another episode of dailies!
By Prolificshadow on Monday, July 27th, 2009 at 4:05 pm
Seriously, when are they going to get the hint that nearly every person who visits this site are tired of DDD. People who play WoW do dailies, we don’t want to do dailies, than go watch someone do them. It’s boring.
By onthebuses on Monday, July 27th, 2009 at 4:55 pm
O god, so much QQing, if you took time out to read the post about the future of project lore, from the project lore editor, u would have heard, that
* The guys are on vacation
* They will be running new content
* Ulduar will be streamed live on the site, soon
Before u all QQ and moan endlessly about how many dailies u have seen, like just don’t watch if you don’t like them, or find them boring.
Everywhere I look nowadays in WoW forums, mmo -champion, and hell now here, its all QQing, moaning, ffs grow the fuck up.
By Kagitaar on Tuesday, July 28th, 2009 at 12:32 am
I generally prefer 1 1 1 2 3. The three combo point Engulf gives you a long enough dot for easy energy regen and a few seconds to recover if you need to burn the points on a shield. Also in the daily you can have the huge HoT (Lifeburst or something) and the 5 stacks of Revivify up before all the drakes.
By matthias on Tuesday, July 28th, 2009 at 10:03 am
so im thinkin what will be hapening next will uyou go to ulduar.. i love watching dorkins do dailies but culd you go back to just raiding… but id also like to se how to get gold
lika a gold guide but only a video.
By DaVoid on Tuesday, July 28th, 2009 at 4:12 pm
if you do this one with a buddy not only is it so much easier but more like what the malygos fight is like(no one ever uses all the spells on that fight, either just 1,2 5 or 3, 4, 5)
By stealthty on Wednesday, July 29th, 2009 at 3:16 am
loooool,i was a bit shocked that you were this “bad” on the quest.
You should try to use: 5stacks 3,11111,2,3,repeat..
always keep 3 up at 5 stacks.
u could use 4 after or before the arcane thingy
this way i never ever die and the dragon is dead in like 15-20 secs, give it a try m8
love PL,altough DDD is getting a bit boring
By Mr.Vincent on Wednesday, July 29th, 2009 at 1:56 pm
We need more Horde weeks….
By Gene on Wednesday, July 29th, 2009 at 3:24 pm
One thing that Dorks didn’t mention, the first time you do Aces High you get some pretty sweeeet rings for rewards.
By Skrabblez on Wednesday, July 29th, 2009 at 7:58 pm
Juggy is my dad
By Sean on Wednesday, July 29th, 2009 at 11:32 pm
It’d be alright if he was actually good at doing dailies.
=P
But sadly that’s not always the case.
With this one, you want to stack Revify up 5 times constantly. Use the shield if the mob starts casting arcane surge and just hit it with 1’s and the occasional 2.
But the shield should only really be used in arcane surge cause your heal can pretty much outheal the damage you receive.

@onthebuses
I lol’d at your QQing about QQing.
By Dyvim_Tvar on Friday, July 31st, 2009 at 8:42 am
So, are we down to just one Dorkins episode per week now? I’m not complaining, its just that if you folks want to really cultivate a following you need to be consistent. Content here seems to be dropping off steadily, and no one has really expressed a coherent plan for where Project Lore is headed in the future. I’m concerned… we seem to be at the place where either things fall apart, or someone steps up to drive things forward… personally I hope for the latter! Communication is key right now… let us know what the plan is!

First the quality of the episodes dropped off and now so have the quantities. I do find it surprising though. They may be on vacation for right now, but considering he does (at least) 3 dalies in one sitting (and about 20 minutes) and manages to cut it up and string the episodes across 3 days, I don’t see why they couldn’t just queue up a bunch of these and spew out the crap like they always do.
Personally, I’m glad they didn’t. Perhaps the crap they are putting out has now dropped below even their standards.
I look forward to Ulduar. I’d love to see the raw content, vent traffic, etc.

I’m kind of agreeing with Bored and Dyvim_Tvar here… I have watched Project Lore since they were doing their first BC instances. I loved the episodes, and the interaction between the guys. And really, that is what kept me coming back for more. Not because they had the best gear and knew how to do everything, but because of the banter and strange comments between the guys. Though I love Zand, he kinda becomes lost on his own. His cheesy humor needs someone else to feed off.
The only reason they posted the “Looking forward” blog entry was because people were starting to wonder wth was going on and why there were no updates. At that point, people had already been asking for dungeon runs for a month. The last run was Naxx, and the last episode was posted May 22nd.
I guess it is a vicious cycle: They need people to watch their episodes. But it costs money to record these, so they need sponsors. But sponsors want to know that people watch the episodes.
And if I wanted to watch a single guy play WoW doing dailies, with goofy comments, I can just watch my husband…

First of all great job project lore, people u must realize that everyone at project lore has a life as well and they cant all be together at the same time always. DDD is informative for a lot of players even though i prefer to watch the instance runs. Juggy is the most informed wow player of all time i think, Alex does a great job of explaining things throughout the runs for mediocre players, lyle is a great tank, and jeff and Zand are pretty much hillarious so great job PL

Man if they wanted they would meet one day and in 3 hours film material for 1 month or maybe 2. (4-5Heroics)

im sad
By Mr. Vincent on Tuesday, August 4th, 2009 at 7:38 am
No new episodes starting to make me a sad panda. I understand Alex and Jeff have been busy with comic con and what have you, but would getting together for an hour and running SFK on the Hordies be that big of a time hack?
By Gimly on Tuesday, August 4th, 2009 at 8:14 am
Gimly Sad I Want More Lore!!!!!
By Wee Jim McPlop on Tuesday, August 4th, 2009 at 10:57 am
