The easiest place i found for this achievement, is to go to one of the icebergs in Howling Fjords, and just click on all the penguins there. You do not have to be lvl 80 either to get there

hey Dorkins, it is not an achievment, but had a question. i have a hunter as my main. I’m thinking of doing a res-pec and cant decide the way to go.I’ve already unlearned my talents and pet talents. i have a bear and cat as my pet. i wondered if you could show us your talents and jimmy’s and George’s for a little tip. my bear is my solo pet and cat is my dungeon pet. i solo a lot and if u could please show/ help me spec, that’d be great.

Another place u can do it is Moonglade I think? - the Drood place anyways. Loads of Deers and squirrls ^^

I did mine in Howling Fjord, There is a glacier and there is a whole bunch of penguins.

If you’re horde, the place to go is just outside Orgrimmar. Head to the two farms just outside and use the critter bites on the smaller swine in the pens, they are technically critters. Usually there are anywhere between 7-11 in a pen making it really easy to get this achievement knocked out of the way.

Is it just me or has anyone noticed how long ago these achievements were completed?

If you look at dorkin’s armoury it says that he got them all on the 13/01/09

The penguins is the easiest place to get them. And penguins are cuter.

I found deeprun tram (near IF exit) the best place to complete it, but there’s noone around to gz you unless you’re in a guild.

A really easy place for some of the end game peeps is in Naxx. I think there is about 20 rats where you wait for patch to come pattin. Of course my guild has a strange obsession with killing these dudes so i didnt get it the first time lolz.

I didn’t even hear about doing it in CoT tbh lol.
best places I know of are Fjord/Borean Tundra because there’s loads of penguins grouped up, or just outside Org on the East + West side of the main road there’s two farms with 8 swine critters each on them, you can easily run between the two. ^_^
Wants to see more ach’s tbh, As i’m starting to run out of ones that require minimal effort.

For Alliance :

The easiest location for alliance: Go the Cat Lady* in Elwynn Forest, & use the food on the (normal) cats/kittens OUTSIDE the house, mostly in the pen to the side…

You can go around the house & find all 10 critters you need in no time (provided no one has laready utilsed them for the achievement).

IMO the easiest for Alliance is in Deeprun tram area where “Monty” the rat guy is. The rats respawn very quickly and there is A LOT of them.
I’m actually horde and my raid meet their before we stormed IronForge. I was able to get like 30 rats w/ me when we started the raid. =D

another great place to do this is in Wailing Caverns(entrance) Right before you get to the Caverns of Mist, the part before you get to the Portal, there is a load of Serpentbloom snakes and Biletoads there:)

PS. can be a bit hard if you are low lvl, since there is a somewhat huge number of Beast there and sometimes players of the opposing faction, but I did it between 40 and 50 somewhere, and then it’s no problem, since you are most likely to one hit the mobs and 1-3 hit he players that usually wanders through:D

This Achivement is ALOT easyer in Howling fjord by ”taming” Turkeys near the alliance beginning area

I did this achievement in the swine pens outside of Orgrimmar. No running, just 20 pigs waiting to be your friend.

Probably easier to be Horde for that though…

another good place is in borean tundra, just south of Un’upe fly there, and there is lots of penguins on the iceberg, and i mean lots. Its also handy to do whilst doing the daily fishing quest, i cant remember the name, but you have to fish up a bloated monsterbelly for the severed arm

It’s actually really easy and quicker to grab a giant clan of penguins. You can find them all over the edges of Northrend and on glaciers. There’s one right behind the Argent Tent at the Argent Tournament grounds.
