By DJ DieSeL on Monday, March 23rd, 2009 at 12:35 pm
Wow… that was SO funny
good vid guys. Love seeing the funny in an episode = the action… only Kara had that
Thanx for doing Horde week again and great length vid with so much going on. If you guys would do all the dungeons and instances up till 60 that would be more than Epic .. .that would be … LEGENDARY
. Good luck on your horde alts and its nice to see that there is no real difference in running an dungeon in ally or horde. Its the attitude that counts ;D
Cheers!

It’s the video’s sound that is messed up. Great vid anyways! It’s fun to see you guys goofing off.
By Arexor on Monday, March 23rd, 2009 at 12:39 pm
For the horde!
That’s one of the reasons why Horde should run Ragefire Chasm until they reach the level requirement for Wailing Caverns ;]
I REALLY miss more videos. I have been waiting the whole day for this video (the clock is 21 in Norway atm).
By Grant on Monday, March 23rd, 2009 at 12:39 pm
That was awesome even though all you guys were doing was running there still pretty sweet. You guys should have taken off your armor so you didn’t suffer the durability. Or you could have had someone hearth one at a time and repair then have atleast 2 at the stone to summon them back so you would’t have to worry about the damaged armor.
By Malycia on Monday, March 23rd, 2009 at 12:41 pm
Neutral repair spot in the top of one of the buildies outside of the mine. A defias tradesman that has a nice alc recipe for rage potions.
By Dibullba on Monday, March 23rd, 2009 at 12:41 pm
it is now evident that lyle is leet lol. he got to deadmines all by himself and he didnt have moonfire

Every inch of this episode was pure win. Easily the funniest, most entertaining episode since Jeff joined the team! So natural and fun! I can’t even list all my favorite quotes!
“I’m so demoralized!…”
“Good thing tigers can’t use bridges! …oh shit…”
“REZ ME! NO NO FLASH HEAL REZ ME! REZ ME!”
I’m going to have to watch this one again, again, and again.
^.^
FOR THE HORDE!
By doser on Monday, March 23rd, 2009 at 12:51 pm
Enjoyed this a lot, its fun to see you guys get lost and get in over your heads.
I have to say that you should have gone for SFK instead of deadmines though, the run to get there certainly would have been easier. Also, if you have all always been ally, you probably would be getting to do a fresh dungeon!
WC next!?

By Sean on Monday, March 23rd, 2009 at 1:04 pm
My new favourite episode.
I almost wet myself laughing.
I’ve also taken that journey two levels higher than yourselves, as a horde.
Good times. Especially on a PvP realm where gankers in STV don’t know whether to one-shot you or applaud you.
By Froststormer on Monday, March 23rd, 2009 at 1:28 pm
I agree whit DJ DieSeL. I will be EPIC to see you guys do all the dungeouns pre-TBC on horde side. I actualy started palying wow wen TBC went on sell, so i rushed true the lvl’s so i can reach 70. An to compensate for that thing me and lads started alts wich we play only together for the sake of seening all the low lvl instances in theyre charm. Still would love to see you guys doing it.
P.S. Wish you all the best, and keep up the good work <3

You guys should be so happy you did that on a PVE server though i think it woulda been more fun to see you do it pvp cause every step DEATH and the chaos that follows would be worth a show all its own.
By Chlex on Monday, March 23rd, 2009 at 1:39 pm
hey when you guys wanted to repair there was a repair guy in the house on the opposite side of the outside of the instance for both factions to repair. just saying

By DJ DieSeL on Monday, March 23rd, 2009 at 2:37 pm
@ cocopuff
My personal belief on this matter is that since they have to level from scratch and they have the opporunity to do the low lvl stuff now, it would be wise to do them now. Also i remember reading comments of non-wow players and how by seeing PL they were motivated to try wow. I think that some starting content would be benefic to those viewers who can see the beauty of the game even at the start of it, and also it brings veterans, who watch youtube videos on how-to raids and whatnot, closer to their first wow experiences. Lets remember WoW is a game, mmorpg… if these 5 dudes like to do this, i say it is perfectly logical. Plus, it would be sorta pointless/tedious to lvl a horde to do a high lvl raid when one of their ally characters could do it “for the heck of it”. I for one sustain this PL horde movement and hope they will take step by step, instance by instance to 60.
By Manovan on Monday, March 23rd, 2009 at 2:38 pm
Horde players ALWAYS swim to Westfall. This video could have been 1/3 of its current length. I swam over with my level 10 blood elf rogue to get a Defias Mask without dying once. Just a hint to others who might want to bring their lowbies to Westfall.
Don’t forget about the neutral repair guy as well.
By Illithian on Monday, March 23rd, 2009 at 2:49 pm
Horde! Deadmines! =D
I did all of this recently on my new hunter so its super exciting to see the guys doing it too. Although I would much prefer to see naxx25 and OS done by The Totally Rad Guild.

Either way great episode. My wife and I were just laughing. Especially with the idea that Tigers do not know how to use bridges.

By Cotytto on Monday, March 23rd, 2009 at 5:35 pm
I always swam it.Never once died doing it that way either.
And yeah, the Horde seal form quest was a real bitch back then.
If you wanted to avoid the Night Watch stationed at the junction, watch to the left hand side for the patrolling ogre and go after he’s gone.
Still guys swimming would have been much easier.
And you could have repaired at the inn.
Defias Profiteer
http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=1669
He’s upstairs and you have to clear your way to him.He sells a couple of decent lower level greens along with the rage potion recipe.
Great episode though guys had me laughing my ass off.
Really liking watching Jeff interacting with the rest of you now.Seems like he got into the Project Lore groove. He relaxed, and most importantly is having fun.It shows.
Keep up the good work guys.

Love to see u guys going horde for low level instances. Its fun, no doubt. The lvl 80 instances have gotten old already seeing most of them every week so low lvl instances is not bad

Great episode guys!
I’m guessing Jerry isn’t coming back :((((((
Considering the intro has Jeff in it now.
iCarly just keeps making new episodes which means Jerry is going to be stuck in Hollywood for even LONGER!!
I have a question for Alex.
What addons do you have installed?
I see the 2 bars off to the side on your screen showing the HP of you and the mob.
I see when you mouse over something, instead of the window being in the bottom right corner, its on your mouse, what addon is that?
By Tiza on Monday, March 23rd, 2009 at 7:12 pm
This was an amusing episode, but you guys are complete horde noobs. you should learn more about the land and the ways through it before you go, because you guys took the long way there… fools. I noticed that you guys died a lot; did u notice there was a place for horde to fix thier armor in moonbrook?
also, i know this is a little off topic, but you guys ttly disapointed me with RFC, it was not a lvl 18 instance as you made it out to be. lvl 12’s do it.
Psh… you guys are bettter than this! make me proud with the actual instance or i will be forced to leave another annoying and pessimistic comment, and trust me, no one wants that.
By Vyllanas on Monday, March 23rd, 2009 at 7:53 pm
The most entertaining vid to date, by far. This is the kinda stuff that is fun to watch. Lowbies running around a high level area dealing with the unexpected. I had to sigh at your lack of team work at the beginning, but you seemed to pull it together towards the end. Good job on the bonus pvp action! Can’t wait for the next lowbie run.
By DJ DieSeL on Monday, March 23rd, 2009 at 8:42 pm
I see ppl arguing the “performance” of PL a lot. This i say in general for all their vids, not just this one: they are friends, they are part of the same guild and ranked highest in it… Goggins aint coming back because his character is still lvl 70 so that means he hasnt touched him. I think #1 priority for friends and high ranking guildmates is to have FUN! They did this horde weeks to entertain us, the viewer. If we start demanding and criticizing every aspect they did “wrong” then i guess we are the ones dissapointing the PL team
… Remember in Slave Pens (or one of the earliest episodes) when goggins and DrDark would ninja roll stuff ROFL… or “accidental pulls” via Jimmy. These guys are all about fun and their medium is WoW… Not about WoW performance and them the medium. I agree some thing seem :S sometimes BUT if it werent for those “screw-ups” i would not have laughed so hard. I mean these guys R PRO, look at their armory… .look at their guild… look at juggy the melee shaman that solo heals (most of the time). C’mon. Nobody suspects that they are taking it lightly as to promote WoW as an accessible game for all…. not a hard-core, win or fail situation kinda game.
By Tiza on Monday, March 23rd, 2009 at 10:22 pm
i supose i may have misuderstood the purpose of project lore then. i’ll admit that i have only seen a few episodes, and figured by the way they stopped to explain everything that it was as much informational as it was entertainment, so i was bothered that they would get so much wrong. im not suggesting that the “screw-ups” weren’t funny, and im not complaining about the little stuff (”good thing tigers can’t use bridges!” lol) im simply stating the fact that, well, they should know some facts — such as the lvl of the instance they’re going into and how to get there.
my apologies for raining on the PL parade.

Like i said that was only my opinion… and who am I… just a random nobody,
, but thx for considering my comment. Thats just the way i saw PL (seen all episodes more than 5 times
) I can guarantee you that when the situation gets tough they put their pwnage face on. Like last weeks Dorkins super saving boss kill lol.
By DJ DieSeL on Tuesday, March 24th, 2009 at 9:27 am
hmmm i cant edit my own comments? or am i blind … anyway Tiza i just wanted to remind you that i said in my previous post that it was “In general” … didnt accuse you of anything directly, just stated what i have seen through most of their comments and you have the right to an opinion, and so do i. If there is a agreement then excellent
if you want action-packed serious raiding check out their Karazhan and WOTLK Beta section. Happy viewing!

lol, i love these episodes too… keep it up. i’m glad they went the long way tbh. swimming wouldn’t have been nearly as fun to watch. they wouldn’t have had the alliance lowbie try and gank them, etc. oh and, FOR THE HORDE!
By pronoob on Tuesday, March 24th, 2009 at 11:09 am
wtf -.- why isin’t this or any other video working for me anymore… it was all good 2 days ago liek wtf
By Blight on Tuesday, March 24th, 2009 at 11:29 am
AS DJ DieSeL mentioned, there are a lot of serious raiding video and strategy sites out there. This has been far more palpable to me then those cut and dry, especially since we get to see how badly it can be messed up.
Either way, Lyle really rocked this episode. He basically got it right as far as the run through, just go go go as far as you can. I’ve been in Lyle’s shoes a few times waiting for friends who didn’t stick to the plan.
Unfortunately, you also have two classes with Instant Cast HoT’s who weren’t really keeping them up. When doing a run past like that, you just need to slap some HoT’s on whoever got aggro, then on yourself since your heals will pull the aggro and just keep moving.
Really you could of easily missed the Alliance flagged NPC’s, and had a straight run if the healers just HoT whoever got aggro and everyone kept moving.
Course… it just wouldn’t of been near as funny… so there’s that.
Overall though, a great episode, and I’m really looking forward to seeing a Deadmines run!
By Zaraken on Tuesday, March 24th, 2009 at 11:31 am

Great episode! I just recently started a Tauren Druid (my first Horde) so these are great to watch!
Although, one thing: I did the Aquatic Form on my druid just last week, and it was still the long quest where you have to visit different places on the map and dive down deep to get three parts of an amulet. Cat Form you just learn at level 20, but both forms before that have quests attached to them.
Also, to the people who asked: the sound is just like that because they were speaking so loudly at times that the mics were over-modulating
It’s not really an error in the video, it just can’t be fixed once the sound is recorded.

By toybreaker on Wednesday, March 25th, 2009 at 11:42 pm
So heres the deal. I really like the possibilities of where this can go but what the heck is the deal with doing old stuff like Deadmines? there are so many WoTLK fights that could really benefit from the cameras and angles PL could provide but you decide to waste time on Deadmines.
I do want to say, great move gettin BRK on your site..I dont like hunters, i dont play hunters but BRK is great to listen to and a lot of the theories and strats for hunters work for other classes. Keep it rockin BRK.
alex, really dude, you are hella cool…step the team up and hit some content. Need some help? I aint great but I am in San Diego….quick drive up.
By Nebyula on Thursday, March 26th, 2009 at 12:48 am
I’m sad people are all “this is stupid, I can do this place in my sleep, and have”. Can’t you all just stop and smell the old-school roses? This is nostagia at its finest.
Super funny too, keep it up PL.
Nice to see Lyle step out of his serious box too =P He’s pretty awesome when he does, do it more please!
By Aurofel on Thursday, March 26th, 2009 at 2:46 pm
People have to realize and remember that there are constantly new people starting this game — a few of whom may have even started to play because of what they saw on this very site. Why should Project Lore only focus on WotLK content, when they can show some newer players (and players playing alts in a new faction *cough*) some gameplay and strategy (or what NOT to do in this case
) from earlier in the game?
It’s not as if they’ve stopped making videos of higher level instances, after all, they’re just doing both now.

I havent seen all the episodes but I havent seen you introduce your charactors it would be good to describe your charactors and a bit about their setup.
fyi recently returned after away several years my highest level was/is a human paladin level 60,, didnt like endgame (raiding/pvp)
figure by those levels you should be a pope or a sargent of the guard (im an explorer/builder type of player)
still want to see farms/ranch and machine battles like ships

A few observations:
1. Apparently, regardless of level, rolling a mage means whining for heals! LOL. My very soon-to-be husband Ultraking used to yell, “heals would be nice” across the room to me back when I was resto. L2SurviveMoar.
2. I remember the water form quest very well. Being brand new to the game and Ultraking refusing to help me much because I “needed to learn on my own” (which I’m grateful for now) meant that quest took me a while. I didn’t realize it was trainable now. All you nooblet druids owe us a bit of thanks for the QQing that got water form nerfed. Pathetic.
3. I’ll admit, if I saw a pack of low level horde walking flagged through Duskwood, I would be really tempted. My finger would at least hover over moonfire for a few seconds.
Good luck in deadmines; get some better gear, noobs! Muwahahahaha.

Really funny video guys, grats!!
A few observations….
1) Three dead guys and two cows, that reminds me of this one party we had back in college.
2) Speaking of cows, you had 2 cows and you had to run from Grom Gol to Westfall, why didn’t you just ride the cows?
3) Ressing people with your horns, so you are saying that you get people up when you are horny? I’ll just leave that one alone…
4) Its a shame when a tight-knit raid group such as yours can be torn apart by something as simple as wild tigers!
5) The moonfire song, wasn’t that originally done by ABBA?
6) @ Ambermist; I wouldn’t have had to yell for healing if I had actually GOTTEN SOME! Am I gonna have to cut you off again? You will never get my secret recipe for struedel that way…
By Ambermist on Monday, March 30th, 2009 at 7:46 am
@ Ultraking:
Sorry, sweetheart; tanks > mages any day. If our MT dies, it’s basically a wipe. If you die…well, we step on your lifeless corpse as we run back and forth across lava walls. (Or, when I was healing you, running from fire in Archimonde).
As an aside, you DO have a big Low Health warning, a pot, a healthstone, and bandages…just saying.
You do at least get a BR every now and then when we need your dps. Of course, you realize we REALLY love you for your strudel.
Aren’t you glad I’m not your healer anymore? Now I’m your competition! <3
By Soraxheart on Monday, March 30th, 2009 at 7:59 am
god i love project lore
By Ultraking on Monday, March 30th, 2009 at 8:21 am
@ Ambermist
1) That’s all well and good, but if all you have left are tanks and healers you might as well get up a good game of Shoots and Ladders, cause the boss is gonna tear you up like a pit bull on a pork chop.
2) Yes, bandaging is definitely awesome during these fights, as it is a CHANNELED item. Archamonde even breathes in your direction and your band aid is hosed. Also love the one potion rule on these fights, it makes it even more pointless to try and self-heal.
3) Yes, the occasional Battle Res is awesome, unless you didn’t expect it and are in the middle of making a sammich while you wait on everyone else to take a dirt nap. Hmmmm, maybe I could make a Strudel sammich, now I’m just hungry.
4) Oh yeah, its so much better now that we have to compete for loot! Thanks so much Blizzard for homogenizing everything in the game! Nothing like being a mage and competing with Pallies for the best sword in the game!!! But I’m not bitter….
5) <3 Ambermist, yes, it’s always this much fun around our house!
By Hommeverd on Tuesday, March 31st, 2009 at 8:09 am
yeah, totally worth the whole episode to go through STV rather than a boring swim up. this was pure entertainment, thanks a lot and keep with those toons
FOR THE HORDE!!!
By Kalgorn on Tuesday, March 31st, 2009 at 8:44 am
Omg, this was probably the funniest episode of Project Lore yet! WAY better than spending a whole episode just standing there and talking.
By Luncifial on Wednesday, April 1st, 2009 at 2:36 am
the funny thing is that i think watching them try to navigate through stv and duskwood so despately together is actually more entertaining than most of the other segments. im rly enjoying this horde content.
For the Horde!

Guys wtf is that??
i made this instances on 15 lvl without wipes. Is it podcast for dorks? ofc its funny 2 hear you joking, but game in low lvl instances suck. they are easy as pie. how can you make so much wipes???
i am Dissapointed.
By Holydos on Saturday, April 4th, 2009 at 7:45 pm
They went through the walking way, while the swimming way would have been easier and also this is horde and they more or less out voted, the Cows. lol
By Euryticles on Sunday, April 5th, 2009 at 3:19 pm
Best episode imo, watched it like 3 times already.
For some reason I found it really funny when I heard
“Cause we don’t wanna die too far back”
“No we die forward”

Swiming goes so much faster, if your far enough out there is no argo the entire way, and though you move slower swimming not getting stuned and killed it goes faster, not to mention the fact that its 1/2 the distance since Moonbrook is right next to the ocean.
I do the swim quite often just normaly on alliance from Westbrook to booty bay rather then STV up to westbrook… its the easiest (not fastest but still easiest) way for alliance to get to WC at level since the only other way is to go through the NE starting zone down in which wasn’t exactly easy to get to if you where not a night elf since you’d have to run all the way to mithril harbor untill the ship placments changed in 3.x…
so as a human it was westfall swim down to booty bay and take boat over to ratchet to get to WC or it was, SW tram to IF run through Dun Moron up to Wetlands to take boat to Dark Shore to run south through auberdine into the barrens… One time swim to BB meant you could fly from SW to BB to get back over there… Now with boat conecting darkshore and Stormwind directly they both take about the same time, but before 3.x swimming to BB was faster.
By Egma on Monday, May 4th, 2009 at 3:40 pm
As for the water quest, well it wasn’t hard just rather annoying with having to travel all of Azaroth without a mount yet and none of the FPs… time consuming yes, hard no.
As for the flaging, if you don’t /pvp you only flag from 3 cases, walking into a opposing factions Capitol city (not any city just the capitols) or attacking a flaged player/mob, or healing a flaged player.
The reason 1 of you got flaged was from attacking the flaged NPC, the reason 2 more of you got flaged was from healing the person who was flaged. The PvP flag lasts 5 minutes from last hostile action you take, last heal of flaged player (healing yourself flaged does not renew the timer) or leaving a capitol city… with 1 exception if you did not do /pvp and your just on an action flag, rather then “permanent” one, taking a FP auto unflags you despite how much time you would normally have left before it going away.

Its old because its summer and they havent made any new videos yet. But this is PL’s favorite video so they wanted to show it again. Its kinda telling you to check out all the great old episodes until there are new ones.
