I like what I’m seeing guys! Here are some thought I had while I watched.
When running the lower level instances, perhaps you could limit yourselves by using gear on par with what the player would have at that time. Also, try not to use skills the player might not have access to yet. It’ll give it a more accurate feel for what they should expect.
Then you can save Heroic runs for separate videos… and more episodes.
When discussing mobs of note, other than bosses, perhaps slow the video so the player can see who/what you’re talking about. I think in video 1.1 I noticed this happen and wondered which mob you were referring to.
I’m not sure if you have this on the site anywhere but perhaps you can have a list of suggested AddOns. I noticed each of you run different UIs. Knowing what you prefer and why could be a great boon to players new to those instances.
Well, that’s all the tips I have for now. Hope you can get some use out of them. I really enjoyed watching the videos.

Wow, great episode guys. This will really help out people in Outlands. Jerry Trainor from iCarly (Nickelodeon show) plays WoW, that is great. He is beyond hilarious on the show and the fact that he plays WoW just makes it better! Great work guys, can’t wait to see more episodes to come! *thumbs up* 10/10!

One of the addons they are using is DamageMeters you can find it here http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/567/
By Rhorlex on Tuesday, July 15th, 2008 at 3:50 pm
Found a site, where they list addons that a particular user has for her UI, but I found a couple on the site that were shown in the vids http://tara.teich.net/archives/essential-wow-addons
By Zarrock on Tuesday, July 15th, 2008 at 5:12 pm
Any one know what the addons the rouge was using that popped up on the sides of his Character…? The health/energy/mana/rage bars?
By Victor on Tuesday, July 15th, 2008 at 8:48 pm
dude thats pretty awesome. that guy on icarly is gr8. wat server u on?
Horde FTW!
By steve on Tuesday, July 15th, 2008 at 9:47 pm
Love your new project! Nice to see that normal guys (not just people locked in their parents basement) enjoy this game. I’m a newer player about 9 months and am GM of BottleService and have 5 toons Horde and Alliance. Great stuff keep going!!! Get some PVP BG stuff up so we can see you all work as a team destroying….

Hey I just got done watching you first episode. I think you guys have a good idea and it’s extreamly entertaining. One question are you guys going to have a room with 25 players in it for the higher level raids? LOL I think that would be so awesome. Anyways good luck on the project.

Pretty good, except one big thing:
The video needs some kind of narration (either from yourself while playing or a voiceover) to let me know what is going on.
There were quite a few moments in the battles when nobody was speaking, and with the camera changing so often I had a really hard time following the subtle events of the battle.
Also, alot of the subtleties of the group strategy etc… that is probably assumed (since you play together a bunch) is not explicated discussed in the video and thus lost on viewers.
In other words, the intricate dance of strategy and teamwork you performed in game just looked like a big-zerg-moshpit on video.
By Chris on Wednesday, July 16th, 2008 at 12:12 pm
Another comment:
I think you should conceptualize the videos as:
1. Part a WoW version of a Diggnation Discussion
2. Part Instance Walkthrough
Thus, more discussions about where people should stand during which pull AND the hazards of being a class xyz would be nice.

Hey guys, thank you for all of the great feedback. We are always going to be improving both the videos and the site, so keep it coming!

I like that you go through the lore as well as show the fights. The fact that you edit away some trash fights are good as well. It is a bit strange that one guy is just on speaker phone, but it’s nice that the four guys that are in the same room have matching hardware. Something I miss is a RSS feed to subscribe to the episodes.
By Des on Thursday, July 17th, 2008 at 5:51 pm
You need a girl on here. Other than that, this is a golden idea.

Loser, get a real job.
———————————————————————————
Well, you guys are official now =D
You have some guy who makes fun of you for what you do. The True mark that your doing something right.
As for you T Merchant, do you even realize who the Jerry Trainer, The Healer is? Go search his name on Google. He is a decently well known actor, and also, if your saying they are losers for making a Show about WoW…. why are you watching this video in the first place? Seems kind of odd you think they are losers cause they play WoW, yet you watched a video ABOUT WoW.

hey guys im liking what i see here… i really think this will help train the people new to these places. but ya i think the heroic setting needs to be on for u guys on these much lower zones. any ways i was watching this and my little brother was sitting next to and screamed (making my ear bleed) “THATS SPENCER FROM ICARLY” and i told him i doubt it so just to clam him down i looked it up and i was suprised to find out it is you. any ways thanks so much for these very in depth guides and easy explanations ^^

What makes you think Juggynaut isn’t a laydee?
By Zac Morris on Friday, July 18th, 2008 at 8:27 am
I like the show, and look forward to different instances. Would also like to see a show about your various toon “builds”, addons, etc.
Only thing negative: Alex, “bro”, you need to turn down the gas cause you are FLAMING (and not as in hawt!)
Yeah, takes one to know one, but daym!
Ha ha ha, good luck with the show!
P.S. faux hawks are so euro trash 2006, just sayin…
By Hardpull on Friday, July 18th, 2008 at 8:36 am
There was one point where a little box popped up saying “This is a hard pull”. However, there was no discussion why the pull was hard, what are the dangers of the pull, where is the best place to stand, and any humorous experiences of the other players at the spot.
Basically, the video said it was a hard pull, and I bet it is, but it was not discussed!
By Hardpull on Friday, July 18th, 2008 at 9:02 am
Also, at the beginning of the video you should point out what toon is what class. I know you identified what PLAYER is what class, but in the game I was confused what toon was which class.
