A new round of changes to go with the next week of testing! Perhaps the most important of the bunch are those relating to the way Rogue poisons work. We brought a potential problem to your attention last week, which involved an add-on allowing Rogues to weapon-swap (and thus poison-swap) on the fly. This was supposed ... Likely in accordance with the raid testing today, 3.3 has been updated yet again. Though it’s a full 181 MB, the documented changes are minuscule, as they have been over the past few builds. I’ll be the first to tell you that I’m happy about the changes being made to Murder. The description below isn’t just ... MorePTR 3.3: Patch Notes Updated 11/09

This update’s a teeny-tiny little one, honestly without a whole lot to talk about. Paladin’s continue to get changes to their Lay on Hands spell, which you may or may not have seen Blizzard waffling about on the official forums. The latest version of the spell — which once was rumored to remove the ability ... More3.3: More Official Tier 10 Previews

Two new entries have been added to Blizzard’s Official Tier 10 armor previews: the Paladin and Priest. Though you’ve likely seen them before, these two sets can now be considered “complete” and in their final forms. Even after much controversy, they remain roughly the same as they did when data-miners first pulled them out of ... MorePTR 3.3: Patch Notes Update, New Map/Quest System Implemented

New build, new stuff! Two things of especially interesting note this time around: if you’re still running Naxxramas these days, then it’s about to get a little bit easier. Are you tired of having to run through the entire dungeon just to unlock the fight with Sapphiron? Well, fret no longer! Blizzard has heard your ... MorePTR 3.3: Patch Notes Updated (Build 10747)

It’s that time again! The patch notes of have been updated, and even though the PTR servers are down for the moment, I’m sure it won’t be too long before we can get our hands on it. In addition to the usual round of class changes, there are two things worth paying attention to in ... MoreAvoidance Tanks, Meet Your New Worst Enemy: Chill of the Throne

You may have read, here or otherwise, about a zone-wide debuff in Icecrown Citadel that causes one or two-percent damage every few seconds to each player in your group. Though the Warcraft community is prone to complaining about any and every change made to the game, no matter how asinine, they were right about this ... MorePTR 3.3: Patch Notes Update (10172), Dungeon and Raid System Detailed

The Looking For Group system was only a setback! Blizzard has fully replaced it with the new Dungeon system on the PTR. Although vestiges of it were on the test realms before, it should be — more or less — fully implemented now. And there’s a pretty big bonus: raids are now a part of ... Sorry, ladies and germs! It’s been a bit of a long weekend for me, so I haven’t been able to get to this any sooner, but a new build of 3.3 (10676, to be specific) was pushed onto the Test Realms on Friday. We’re far and away from the major updates of the early iterations. ... MoreProverb: The Elemental Planes, Part 1
