When you show up for an instance, or even more important a raid, are you prepared? Do you come with mana pots and healing pots? Do you have your food? Did you repair?
Well you should have. And that’s what I mean - be prepared.
If you’re going to raid, have your stuff ready. And when you go to a place you don’t know, know what your job is and know what skills will come in handy when unexpected stuff shows up.
Who hasn’t been in a pug or even a guild raid and someone in chat says, ‘oops I forgot my… can you summon me back?’ geezz ppl. Come to play!
When mobs attack, you know what to do, learn what to do, or at least learn what your class is supposed to do: CC, DPS, Heal, Tank, whatever. If you are prepared in knowing what you can do and should do, you will probably live longer in that encounter.
Now in RL, it’s hard to be prepared all the time, just like those pats that whack you in BT or worse the ninjas in Heroic Shattered Halls. You can be prepared mentally tho. Know that life is random and that stuff pops up and ultimately it’s how you react to it that makes the difference.
Be prepared as best you can be, for a raid in WoW or for a job interview in RL. Know what you’re good at and be willing to get better at it. And most important of all, if you are prepared and know that whatever happens, it will be okay, then you truly are prepared.
So… are you prepared?

That was Lyle who ran out of ammo for pulling. If the hunter runs our of ammo, the 5-man progression basically stops. =)

LOL, I don’t understand how a Hunter doesn’t have enough ammo for a instance run. I play hunter and if my ammo is under 1k I always buy more for those just in case situations. I mean you got to 70 somehow, you should have SOME kind of clue on how to play your class.
I’ve been in several PUGS where someone 1/3 of the way through announces he is out of food or water and has to bum some off of the other players. This drives me nuts.
Oh well, I guess not everyone can think more than 5 minutes ahead.

What is it with hunters and forgetting to buy ammo?
How would players like it if I showed up to an instance and told them, “sorry, I forgot my tanking gear in the bank”.

I totaly sucks when you sit and wait for a raid to start, and other players sudenly realise that they dont have pots and dident repir. The guild im playing for at the moment have a record of 1½ hour just sitting and waiting for all to be ready. Needless to say, i was pissed all night.

haha yea when i first started i always forgot my shit. now though, it irks when others do. i try to remind myself i was there ate one point, but i mean, food for your pet? seriously? and the ammo thing is another one.
oh well.
I have a friend that always forgets, ALWAYS, forgets mana pots. Sometimes I could just strangle him.

Just to give a point from a hunters perspective when doing say a full kara run now i have an 20 slot ammo pouch and barely have enough to finish an entire run, ye thats 4000 rounds but you would be surprised how quick it goes i have finished kara with less than 50 bullets left in my pouch so if i havent maxed out my ammo then im gonna be firing blanks by the end, btw thats also 25g worth of top ammo for 1 run no else blows money on consumables just to attack ppl like that so go easy on us hunters personally i feel as if i need a truck following me around just for the food my pet eats! lol IMHO no-one spends more money on consumables than a hunter all that ammo plus feedin yaself and a pet doesn’t come cheap!

You guys should just be happy that you’re not warlocks. All i ever get is ‘I need some stuff, i’ll brb’ and then they hearth and then i have to summon them back. No asking whether i can or want to summon them just an assumption that i will.

I’m a hunter and I make sure to keep a steady supply of arrows both in my quiver and in half of one of my bags for any instance run. The remaining half bag is dedicated solely to food (mine and pet’s), another bag is potions and bandages or what-not, which leave the last bag free to pick up trash drops and neat gear. It’s a matter of planning out your bag space. Seeing as I have three 20 slot bags and the lovely lovely 20 slot quiver, I set.
But it does annoy the life out of me when the raid starts at say 2GT and we have to wait on half the raid because they only logged on 2 minutes ago and need to go on a supply hunt, no matter the class. We had a pally run out of mats 2 bosses into Kara one time. Another time it was the druid right before Prince.
If you have to, dedicate an entire bag to the one item you will use most during the raid. Not only will it save you money in the long run, but you won’t annoy the rest of us waiting for you to haul your ass to a city to re-stock… IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAMNED RAID!!!!
