Maelstrom, Emerald Dream Or Some Combination?

Maelstrom, Emerald Dream Or Some Combination?

A collection of Blizzard’s community managers have been teasing the next expansion lately, according to WoWInsider, and it got me thinking about things I would like to see in number three.  Outside of the added content, The Burning Crusade’s biggest feature was the space goat - does anyone else think of “Coast to Coast” after reading that? - and sexy horde character, as well as Blizzard giving up on balancing faction-exclusive classes.  For its part, Wrath of the Lich King introduced everyone to the first hero class, the overpowered, free-minded Death Knights.  Without further ado, I present one of the major additions I would like to see in the upcoming expansion, whatever it may be, new leveling zones.

We’ve essentially been leveling from level 10-60 in the same zones since World of Warcraft launched back in late 2004.  If it wasn’t for The Burning Crusade’s addition of opening zones for the added races, we could extend that to level 1-60.  Sure, Azeroth offers many areas that overlap in their level range, but after leveling six characters to level 60, the content has run dry for me.  I can only fight the raptors outside Menethil Harbor, squish the spiders of Duskwood, and farm various animals in Stranglethorn Vale so many times.

There’s no serious indication that this could happen in the next expansion, but I will grasp any bit of information that can be skewed and twisted in a fashion to make my dreams seem possible.  Case in point, when the topic of redesigning some of the Old World zones for a new expansion was raised, Zarhym chimed in with a seal of approval, “Good post :) .”  It’s nice to know that someone within the Blizzard dictatorship agrees with us common folk, even if it is a disembodied, chattering skull.

Although I would prefer new content rather than redesigned zones, I will take what I can get.  After all, the overhauled version of Silithus for The Gates of Ahn’Qiraj was absolutely brilliant and we need something brilliant to bring us back to the Old World.  It may be a bit premature to begin thinking about the next expansion before we have killed Arthas, but that has never stopped me before and it won’t stop my brain from thinking of new things either.

Do you think there’s a chance that the developers will revisit the old world, whether it be adding new areas/zones or redesigning existing ones?

lol, I really don’t care waht the next expansion will be. I just care about making my hunter L33T in this expansion :D

By Shnoo on Monday, May 18th, 2009 at 5:12 pm

Next expansion will most likely delve into the realm of Ysera (Emerald Dream) Seeing as the Emerald Dream is an “alternate” version of Azeroth, I’d consider that as “revisiting”.

I really hope to see the old world zones redesigned as well, through either redesigning the old zones or creating areas out of the non-explorable areas on the map. i’m currently leveling my 7th character, i have 2 80s, a 72,66,58, and a 48 right now and my 7th is just 20ish. so yeah.. ive seen the old world a lot.. and its getting sickening to level.

I wonder what could they do with the Gilneas’ Lore.

By l33tadin on Monday, May 18th, 2009 at 5:21 pm

i doubt well go to the emerald dream…after all….tht was subdued by completing WC….no new bosses there…..however….i think we will go into the twisting nether to go find Sargeras after all these years…..also….there are still some old world gods tht havnt appeared(apart from yogg-saron, C’thun, and the dead one at the masters glaive in darkshore)

By Mr.Awesome on Monday, May 18th, 2009 at 6:42 pm

or we could go into the Malstrum and go under water?

By Mr.Awesome on Monday, May 18th, 2009 at 6:49 pm

we could also dwell into the goblin cities and ilsands and learn more about the far-from reach areas

By JasonMB on Monday, May 18th, 2009 at 6:57 pm

I was actually talking about this the other day with my guild. We had a few thoughts on what else should be done in order to sort of balance out the game/improve gameplay

The first big problem we had that if they are redesigning the old areas that they should take the time in order them able to apply the flight ability.

I must admit I started WOW because of PL and i loved all the stuff iw as seeing and the other stuff i was seeing. So to be honest i dont know the mythos around Warcraft (blizzard sucked me in with Starcraft.) Personally i can see there is a ton of content from the few guildies i know who know alot about Warcraft and this is just an amazing world.

I look forward to the next expansion….but to i have to buy/complete Wrath content before then :P

the great sundering is one if not the bigest mile stone of azeroth history and teh mael storm is a momento of that i to posed the idea of finding and destoying sargeras once and for all lets not forget about sargeas what possible treasure could that place hold what cool raid that whould make as for teh new level area picture this when the well of eternity exploded it tore up kalimdor it created northrend and easter kingdom plus a bunch of little islands left a swirling world pool in its place now imagine taht it goes REALLY bad pulls all the continets towards it and unites am into the former continent known as kalimdor no more boats to get move between continents and u could use your mound out land used o be known as dreanor its only a small chunk of the planet how about some how reforming the planet or reoping the portals that once tore appart the planet so we can travel between the broken parts of dreanor i allways wondered about teh dude with teh bierd and sick in teh completly zoomed out picture maybe blizzard can do something of that the one think i hope i dont see is herioc for old instances its been brought up many times and i do hope it will keep getting shut down

By brownkid on Monday, May 18th, 2009 at 8:03 pm

maybe a new lvl 1-10 neutral area where all races can go to level together like a goblin homeland(not tanaris) but a whole brand new area for those of us who like to make it possible for tauren and gnomes to be friends
    otherwise known as Non-PvP area!

By nnohhbody on Monday, May 18th, 2009 at 8:37 pm

lets not forget that in the Maelstrom is Queen Azshara, queen of the Highbourne/ Naga also in the maelstrom is a more advanced race of Makura( the lobster guys in Durotar and other low lv places), perhaps a new underwater-ish lving zone ( Yellow Submarine engineers, eh, lol) the Emerald Dream is a peaceful place……kinda nightmares are seeping into the dream as seen from the annoying quest in Icecrown where u have to save a pallies life at Sindragosa’s Fall…. theres still one more Titan city left on Azeroth btw Uldum in Tanaris… if Blizz is makeing us fight Titans in Ulduar then Sargaras shouldnt be a problem….. oh and heres my suggestion on a new race: Pandaren!! Neutral Hero Race ( u have to join one side or the other tho’) imagine haveing a Brewmaster in ur Raid, lol XD

Seeing Outlands and the Old World nearly abandoned is sad…and it sucks for anyone just starting out. Stuff definitely needs to happen there to repopulate the world.

By Alex on Monday, May 18th, 2009 at 9:52 pm

well I’d like to see the emerald dream effect put in place which would open up new posibilities for major content upgrades to a major zone area which woud be capable of including all azeroth zones of kalmidor, the eastern kingdom, and northrend itself since all 3 zones are part of the original world of azeroth. I know this would be a major undertaking but it’d be so cool if it could happen this would also make it posible to allow a major level increase like 30 or 40 levels since this would be a major area of expansion. we all know how old it got with wrath everyone who ad a 70 was 80 within a week or 2 from launch. We allwould agree that the latest 2 expansions got old and boring real quick thus prompting blizz to add new areas just to keep players interested in playing.

By Rayl on Monday, May 18th, 2009 at 10:24 pm

B/C didnt get old fast Wotlk has though …….maybe it was the feel of being in a differnt world =/. wrath just seems like a lame zombie movie with some badass titans O.O.

By DankBud420x on Monday, May 18th, 2009 at 10:32 pm

I agree with Frostseer… I wanna see DEATHWING! That would be an EPIC fight!

By aeddmawr on Monday, May 18th, 2009 at 11:07 pm

Thinking that the Maelstrom sounds like the most likely expansion area given the options. I doubt you will see any new 0-60 areas for this reason… lack of character space. I know on my my main server I have the full 10 characters allotted filled and am working on levelling several. I doubt many players that have been involved for any significant time are going to have neccessary open slots on their favorite servers in order to explore new 0-60 areas. I think that we will get a 2nd hero class not new races. What I would like to see are some of the areas on the edges of azeroth more complete… ie the innaccessable coastal spots covering the continents. I realize that the 2 original continents of azeroth are massive areas to consider… and that the areas in the 2 expansions were created after technology and users hardware have advanced some but swimming around the coast of either Kalimdor or Eastern Kingdoms makes them feel spotty at best. It would be fun to play a goblin… but I don’t see it happening!

By Burnt Joint on Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 at 12:27 am

i remember seeing something on one of the PL episodes where dorkins took some kind of ‘drug’ and was able to see the spirit world.. maybe you could do that game wide with a few reskins and some new monsters. sure it would still be the same basic maps but at least you could add a whole new level of npc’s and story to level in.

By Kerrangous on Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 at 1:08 am

I agree about the grey areas of Azeroth that have not been used yet, they are there for a reason, so why havn’t they implemented them yet?!

I also like the idea of going into the Maelstrom, underwater cities to quest in with a huge city for raiding, that would be great!!!

By Madeinisrael on Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 at 1:09 am

I think we’ll see the Maelstrom in the next expansion. There are Naga and Makura cities in there, they’ll probably be the instances/raids.

By Rhev (Koopa's GM) on Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 at 3:32 am

I would argue that we’ve received new leveling zones with each expansion previously.

Draenei / Belf starting 2 zones offered rich new content.
Instanced DK zones from LK were the only reason my Death knight only made it to about level 60 before i gave up on it.

I think they should revamp the old zones… my idea is to shrink them… hear me out….

Double exp gains pre-level 60, then take every old world zone and increase it’s difficulty and loot drop ilvl by say… 150% Then you just add new content to the top 25% of the zones like the plaugelands, hinterlands, etc. It would give people an alternative to the boring outlands for post 60 leveling…. make the old worlds some what interesting…. and speed up leveling of alts.
    win win win

By alex on Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 at 4:14 am

I agree with alot of the above but like i said bring in the emerald dream concept and make it a type of phased / portal thing so people could still revisit the “OLD” world to help out friends and such. But to open up the emrald dream phase of the OLD wolrd revamped in a green haze with new amazing content and high level monsters would be nice to see. The instances are there already it’d be an easy way to implement a revamped version of each of our favorite instances in the low level areas in the new improved phased areas with improved loot and harder monsters to fight. and i’m sure we all agree a 10 level increase ine level cap is for the birds. by implemnted this phased emeral dream area of the old world of “Azeroth” ( kalmidor, eastern kingdom, and northrend) would allow for a huge increase in the level cap by like 30 40 and maybe more 70 levels would be nice and with the amount of areas and content this would open up would make a 70 level increase in level cap easy. then maybe in a future major content patch open up the Maelstrom maybe mae itlie the 4th expansion. reason i say emerald dream first cuz it’d follow along with the whole dragon theme started with dragonblight an the event at the wrathgate.

By cocopuff on Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 at 5:46 am

first of all less then 24 hours in to the game expenchion thier has allready been an 80 acoulep of fools rushed though all teh content and in teh first week naxx was allrady beat so ya for tose people they got all teh content out of WOTLK in the first week cause they rushed iti am still exploring the wotlk content i like to take my time with it sacond of all unlike in the greek mythology the titans in this ame are teh good guys they created teh world of azeroth as well many of the other worlds and traveled between them to keep teh piece maybe the guardians they assighned went crazy like maly or death wing sargeras though no one really knows waht hapen to the titans i dont we wil be killing our creators i still think doing something with the mael storm will be the ovious choice since thier are so many goodies barried below

By Redaurora on Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 at 6:02 am

Do you think the Emerald Dream would make more sense because of the whole titan reference?

I can not guess about it at all. I think another hero class would be great. Some kind of caster class. I feel that is what will happen. With the new expansion there will be a new hero class with its own race to play. Ok so maybe not a new class for the hero class but it was a cool idea.

By Corlando on Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 at 6:08 am

Wotlk-DK 25 lvls below cap in DK lore related zone (EP)
Emerald Dream-Demon hunter(led by altrius) 25 lvls below cap in DH lore related zone (shadowmoon valley (floating island behind BT))
Sargeras(if not last xpansion lvl99) -Titan 25 lvls below cap in titan related zone (Storm peaks)
    IT ALL FITS!
(I have a feeling maelstrom will release with sargeras)

By John on Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 at 7:16 am

im pretty sure that they might make a new goblin race when they make the Undermine

By Walls on Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 at 7:16 am

Honestly, I’m just hoping for a redesigned old world Azeroth that allows us to use flying mounts. I’d pay $30 for that, easily.

They already have hinted that they’re working on phasing in regards to Grim Batol, I’m hoping that means that we’re not far off from a complete old world overhaul.

By Mr. Vincent on Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 at 7:32 am

Caverns of Time Azeroth/Draenor…not an instance but actual leveling and end game zones of those worlds in the past.

We also need some serious Deathwing action.

By The_Dougan on Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 at 7:42 am

I really hope they do a hero class like the “crusader of virtue” that are around crusaders pinnacle in Icecrown. I love the idea of main-hand/shield melee that could actually hold it together in raids. The maelstrom thing with makura and naga sounds awesome, as those new races would be pretty cool, although i don’t see goblins becoming playable, maybe for the best, gnome rogues are enough of a pain in the rear already. I don’t see Blizz doing that much to old world zones though, even though it would be slightly epic, it would be too cost/time consuming to be placed along side a whole new continent like northrend or outlands.

I think the biggest problem that presents itself as far as leveling goes is how to balance the desire of people leveling alts to do it faster against the player that is new to the game and is trying to take in all of the lore and majesty of Azeroth. I can tell you from my own experience that one of the thing that frustrates new players is the lack of OTHER new players. Veterans leveling alts want to blow through everything. New players are trying to soak it all in. How on earth does Blizz find a happy medium there?

The legendary rune blade Frostmourne was immortalized in Warcraft III, in which it was taken up by Prince Arthas Menethil, corrupting him and leading to his transformation into the Lich King. We’ve partnered with EPIC Weapons to create a limited edition replica of the blade in all its horrific glory. This artifact of ancient evil is over 47″ long and 12.5″ wide, weighing a massive 16 lbs., and is now available for pre-order. For more information, please visit the Frostmourne replica site.

i think it should be the emerald dream. Blizz already has a huge zone and all they need to complete it is by filling in a few holes and ading monsters and dungeons. there is tons of lore and will provide with pretty fun zones and instances.
Also they should make one where you go into the mealstorm. this place is where thrall found the trolls. there was also a sea witch that scared tehm out. this witch could be like the next arthas or illadan.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5oHucJj90s. check this out. bliz spent a lot of time on this and then left it, so let them finish the project.

By Kalgorn on Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 at 9:23 am

Hmm, this seems a little early for me. It’s only been 6months since WotLK was released. How long was the original WoW out before BC was heard of? And how long was BC out before WotLK was?

I dunno, i’ve only leveled 2 characters. My 80 Hunter, and im working on a priest. Through out my time on the game i’ve started various characters to try out the class, but none of them were started with the intentions of getting it to 80. I’ve got my main Hunter which i play 90% of the time im on. My Priest im building up to try out the healing side of the game.

So, there are still parts of the old world i never quested in. I’ve got ‘the Explorer’ title so i’ve explored it all. But most of it was just running around to discover the area. Im all for Blizz redesigning the old world. That’d be awesome and great!
But id rather have them working on new content rather than going back and working on that while the rest of us who don’t really build up many alts have to wait for them to return to the stuff we’re looking forward too.

I’ve heard that Blizzard only intends to take this game to the max level of 100. So, that’d be 2 more expansions of content and patches. Maybe then, when they’ve put out all that, they could go back.

But really, i like the way it is right now. It kinda gives you an idea of how good the game gets as you progressively get higher levels. 1-60 is Azeroth. Interesting and fun enough. There’s certainly no lack of quests to complete. :)
When you hit 58, you can go through the Dark Portal and go to Outlands.
The first thing you see when you first travel through the Dark Portal is this big epic battle right in front of you. It’s just foreshadowing of all the epic content found within the Outlands.

When you reach 68, you can go quest in Northrend. This area is just so much more different because of the abundance of things to do wherever you’re at.
There’s also the differeance where you’ll now be in the same place, questing, where everyone else is. 1-70 is usually a lonely time because most of the players have already reached 80.
But, once you get to Northrend, you’ll be 80 in no time.

Just makes sense to me for things to get progressivly more and more detailed and more things to come about as you go through the content in the game.
Blizz has thrown in enough dungeons in the game for there to be plenty to venture in regardless of your level.

By Kalcifer on Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 at 9:50 am

One thing - heroic modes for all instances (Heroic Deadmines FTW)

By Arb on Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 at 10:02 am

I would just like for them to put Old Naxx back. I came to the game after BC came out and was never able to run it. I just wanna see it :(

By alex on Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 at 10:16 am

Well IMO if Blizzard is intending to keep it’s player base they’re seriouly going to have to rethink the max lvl cap they intend to make the game go. 100 seems to be way to low. and content will become way to boring and people will stop playing because of this. I know the’re working on a new franchise but why abandon the huge successful MMO they currently have going that is funding further MMO’s and their development. There is so much lore that hasn’t been seen. And since for the majority of the player base that plays WoW, the’ve probably never started out by playing the original WoW RPG’s of warcraft and warcraft III so most people are seeing the lore as it unfolds in WoW. And bringing in Emerald Dream and Maelstrom would be a start to further draw people into the whole lore behind WoW. I’d even like to see a way to even visit and destroy the people who are always throwing those god awful demon rocks on Honor Hold and the areas in shadowmoon valley. So yeah the game is good as is but there’s alot they can still do with it including completing the “MAP”. there’s also all the islands out floating kinda like the island area of northrend was before blizz beveloped it into what it currently is. Even with Ulduar out and most people trying to get in and some trying to finish it out the game a the moment has become rather boring even the argent tournament has become boring. that’s the problem with the game at the moment to many people rush through and beat the current stuff so fast that blizz cant keep up. this thread is an example of how much people crave for more MORE and MORE. There is so much they can do with this game to keep it going for 3 to 5 more years and never run out of things to add till then. but at the current rate the game is going their going to lose half or more of the current player base before then. and even more if the cap is going to be set to a maximum of 100

By scaresome on Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 at 10:17 am

A new zone, obviously; like Outland and Northrend. I don’t care if it’s underwater or a portal to outer space. There is plenty of ethos, mythology and archetype to support either or more.

A new Hero class. Personally, I’d like to see a Healer class that can do extra cool stuff to the raid; like speed or picking up the ranged dps and flying them up and over. Maybe invisibility or a mechano-tank buffs. I’d love a phase-shift spell that presets the raid in spots to insta-attack the boss.

I’d like new pockets of content in the old zones. AND I’d like to see some level-free dungeons; maybe a dream-state place where you become a shadow of yourself. Anyone can go in because they are stripped of all gear and powers and have to use only base skills of your character. Rewards are tokens, pets, xp and the like. Just need to get a group of five or ten of anyone and go exploring and fighting echos of the world.

By BK on Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 at 12:19 pm

i think emerald dream will be next if you think about it they could just use those portals that the dragons guard in places like duskwood just a thought tho i would also like to see that swirling thing in the middle of the world map

By Ommadon on Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 at 12:24 pm

    Here’s my prediction:
Next Expansion- level cap raised to 90, new zones added are Maelstrom and Emerald Dream, with Undermine as “home city”
Expansion after that- level cap raised to 100, final raid boss is Sargeras.
Don’t try and tell me that a level 100 Sargeras fight would not be epic.

By CappyG on Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 at 12:28 pm

All this talk about what Blizzard needs to do to keep WOW ticking past 2 more expansions is a little thought provoking.

In all honesty I don’t see how it will work with the current static world that is WOW. Once you’ve seen all of the content what’s the point of continuing to revisit the game? There really isn’t any point. I think with the phasing mechanic Blizzard could turn WOW over to a player driven lore once they reach the end of their expansion plans. Things like actual zone control, player run factions, allowing player impact on the shape of the world, and true benefits for world PVP. That’s how I see WOW surviving in to the future.

As for the next expansion, I think that filling in the blank spots in the map is a worthy goal.

By Nick on Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 at 12:42 pm

i dont wanna go back to the old world until i can use my flyin mount there

By Gwidian on Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 at 1:06 pm

What I would like to see in the next expansion would have to be something a little different then JUST more raids and higher levels and things like that. I would love to see a better guild dynamic and maybe a little more into personal character life creation. I play on a RP (silverhand) and I occasionally dabble into the murky waters of rp, so a few things I would love to see are homes for our characters think of them as mini instances, you go threw the portal and your smack in a an empty room of your own! Add in the ability to hire a peon who can gather materials like wood and rope and things to make furniture and you can start decorating this space to fit how you want. Now you have a refuge to hide out in and invite people over to. No more just /afk in front of the mailbox. I would also like to see a more hero class version of the standard classes, if you have 3-4 level 60+ characters, I think you should be able to start any class you want at level 50ish.

By Snorlax on Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 at 1:33 pm

It’s going to be a while until the next expansion I think, but if it does come out, I think Blizz will do the usual increase of the level cap, add 5 mans and raids, etc. Some of these things have been mentioned, but things I would really like to see:

    -CoT Sargeras’s Tombs
    -Emerald Dream/parallel universe to Azeroth
    -Maelstrom: Naga and Makrura lore

Lastly, Pre-BC would have been cool to preserve the original classes like Demon Hunter, Blood Mage, Mountain King from WC3.

By cocopuff on Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 at 2:33 pm

it would suck if blizzzard just got 2 more expenchion and then tahts it if you think abut take every thing into consideration and if you squize out every bit of lore thier is enough for 5 at least or you can do another spin of like they did with WC here is how i figurre it

3rd expenchion: emarald dreams just like in the last 2 thier whould be release of some new content in between expenchions death wing and emarald dreams go great togather

4th expenchion: mael storm and queen azshara as well as her gang of nagas and the and teh walking crab guys

5th expenchion: reveal teh rest of dreanor

6th expenchion reveal the rest of azoroth and finish mount hyjal

7th expenchionwe go to tomb of sargeras and then kill sargeras him self

in no particular order i hope i will never see the day when blizz has to resort to putin heriocs o nold world instances because that wold be so stupid to put it simply it ould be cool to see the return of demon hunters blood mage that could be thier 2nd and 3rd hero classes allso here iss another thought after thousands of years the titans return to inform us that they are dying out aand they chose azeorth and its residents to pass on thier power imagine being a titan wicked

I think a way of getting older content to appeal to newer players would be a great way to make the WHOLE of WoW more interesting. How many new players do NOT take the time to work though the older content so that they can appreciate the likes of Northrend…?

It appears that a new Expansion to a game evokes a knee-jerk reaction along the lines of ‘limited availability’, when it should really be seen as something to work towards as the next chapter in a story.

It begs the analogy… would you stop reading (for example purposes) the third book in a series, because the author had just released the fourth, just to *have* the newest book in your grasp…?

If Blizzard had intended expansion packs to have built-in redundancy, then surely they would release a new GAME…?

As far as my main realm (EU - Terokkar) is concerned, I would dearly love to meet up with (relatively new) players who WANT to do the likes of U/LBRS, BwL, Ahn’Qiraj et al (despite being L70-80) and get back to finalising any *unfinished business* they had in Outland…

New Expansions…? Yes, please… but just release them w/o the excessive hype that gives them the *status* of a new Game.

Well, i don’t know how much work they could do with the Old World. Maybe make the quests a bit more streamlined like the quests in Outlands and Northrend. It’s kinda confusing what level the area is when you pick up a level 35 quest from one quest giver, then go to the one standing beside him and pick up a level 44 quest.(AKA HIllsbrad)

I can see why you guys don’t want there to be just 2 more expansions, but it makes sense to me. Theres still plenty of content left to be seen at level 80 before the next expansion is released. We still have this ‘mysterious’ raid that we havn’t heard anything about. And we still havn’t fought the Lich King.

Next expansion, at level 90, there’s plenty of lore to for Blizz to add and for players to do. Then, we’ll have a final expansion to wait for and to see. So, it sounds like theres not much left when you think that it’s just going to 100 then its done. But theres alot of content between now, where we’re at, to the final raid at 100.

    That’s going to be epic.
    30k DPS minimum! lol

I don’t know much about the lore of WoW. I’ve just generally played the game and enjoyed what’s in the game currently. I havn’t really read any lore or researched key characters like this Sargeras you guys are talking about.

Once they’ve put it all out, that gives them time to go back and fill some of the players requests such as Heroic Deadmines and such.
Im curious what this Demon Hunter is though.

But, yea, im the kind of person who enjoys things to a certain point. Then when they’re clearly done with everything, i want it to just finish.
Like Smallville. That show has been done for years now but still, season after season keeps airing.
And i love Harry Potter but im not going to be much of a fan if a book 8 comes out.

So if Blizz finishes up with everything and we get to 100 and are in full Tier 15 gear, then news of a new expansion comes out, ill just end my subscription then.

    *NEW INSTANCE IDEA*

Caverns of Time - War of the Shifting Sands…. help the Nelfs defeat/ lock up the Silthlid….think about it

or how about Caverns of Time — Well of Eternity…. help Malfurion and Tyrande defeat (Nelf at that time) Queen Azshara and the 1st invavison of the Burning Legion

also to those with teh idea to fight Deathwing, what if Deathwing is whats casueing the Nightmares in the Emerald Dream, so to got there and stop him from tainting it would be cool..

i would like to see some of the old instances in Heroic. Or maybe put some new low level instances. Re-desinging some areas would be nice. Really i just want to het through the content in WOTLK before everyone is competing to get to lv 90.

i think they should make a caverns of time instance of how Gnomer got taken over

I would love to see new ways to travel accros water. as in having and being able to upgrade your own ship. that could also be a new sick way to PvP. there should be added continents that you can only be able to get to by ship. thats what i really want to see

To be honest i think in one of the upcoming Wotlk patches will be raid:
    CoT: The assault of silvermoon

If Blizz makes a new Hero Class they also should increase the player creation cap….10 is not enough…they should do it 15 or something.

I dont want another expansion for a while until we get more than just a single raid per patch i have a page load of patch ideas which im trying to find a recent blog post to post it on.
