The tier armor preview for patch 3.3 and Icecrown Citadel has been finalized. We finally get a peak at Shaman armor.
This is one of my favorite tier 10 set designs. The deer things coming out of the shoulders look like a random periodic effect. I love these types of effects; it adds a lot of personality to the armor.
I personally don’t look forward to running around with a bag on my head, and I think my priest friends will be giving me flashbacks to Molten Core days with their ripoff of Mage tier 1. I liked the armor design in Burning Crusade, and I think that it went downhill on a whole in Wrath. These tier 10 armor sets look dull in comparison to Burning Crusade armor. Then again, the whole “pew pew laser” theme to Burning Crusade didn’t set well with a lot of players. With tier sets so easy to obtain combined with the questionably impressive designs for armor, I’ve felt rather underwhelmed by armor in Wrath of the Lich King.
Then again, I still love rocking my Rogue tier 8, especially the helm.

I completely agree Heartbourne, the way blizzard is trying to make us rogues look like a giest sucks. I like EVERY other rogue tier compared to this. I’m not getting tier 10.

I agree that the Shaman tier 10 is one of the best of the whole lot. The helm and shoulder images appear to be the Shoveltusks which we have gotten to know since Northrend opened up.

Shouldnt the helm and shoulder shoveltusks belong to the hunter set? they dont scream shaman to me at all. lots of detail, but no attempt to make T10 look like the classes theyre supposed to fit.
A geist rogue and a wooden armored, warrior helmeted hunter…
T10 is in a sorry state of affairs as far as i’m concerned.

I hate the hunter and priest t10………(two that matter to me as they are my 80’s I raid with)
Now is the time that an appearance tab NEEDS to be implemented.

from what i read on the official WoW forums, it looks like this lot of (enter swearword here) ‘attempts’ were allegedly created by their ‘B’ design team, as their ‘A’ team (i pity da fools) are working on the upcoming MMO.
Still no excuse for another ‘bring your kids to work and let them design armor day’ in the Blizz armor design portaloo though.
The best looking are the warrior and shaman sets, but the shaman set DOESNT look like a shaman….
OH, be carefull peeps, Blizz looks like they want us ALL to be wearing dresses soon, apart from the rogue, who now gets his designs straight out of the Anne Summers Basement…

Lol new hunter tier looks really wierd xD but Rogue, Shaman, Priest, Warrior and Warlock look awsome!
DK tier is just too boring and looks too much like the previous ones >.< Mage armor does not look like cloth!
Druids… im just gonna say no thanks

I love the geist rogue set to pieces. Love. However, I am but a mere shaman and I am not impressed with the latest offering. I’m usually a fan of skulls and horns. The spectral shoveltusk shoulder things are neat, and I do like the dripping ice. But the fur, leather, and bones make this feel like a hunter set to me and not something someone who commands the elements would wear. *shrug*

Look at it this way, shaman currently ARE hunters since the T9 sets have practically no differences between them (Horde side, at least). :b

priest tier 10 looks better than the teir 9.
teir 9 helm looked so plain.
but blizz needs to gief us some gear that fits more of the shadow aspect of priests we still exist u kno :p

This set of gear along with the Warrior,Paladin,Warlock and Rogue tier 10 sets are the coolest looking pieces of armor in this game, by far
