It looks like the fans’ reactions all of the fun white background, cut to machinima “What’s Your Game?” commercials with the likes of Mr T and William Shatner have spurred Blizzard to create a couple of new ones. The first is in the vein of the Mr T commercial with an audible director cutting in the middle. The second is more of a one liner with Steve Van Sandt of the Sopranos that harkens back to The Godfather: Part III. Check out both videos below:
Of the two, I prefer the Ozzy commercial, but I have to say the Mr T one is my favorite of the bunch. I can just see Mr T hacking the servers to make a class called a mohawk. Which WoW commercial do you like best?

Yeah, you probably have to have seen The Sopranos to get this one. Steve Van Sandt’s character on the show, Silvio, does the Godfather III impression, but its not really a big deal, even on the show. A bit meh on this one.

I thought Ozzy would be a DK.

The Godfather III one is the lamest of the bunch, but it has THE VOICE OF OPTIMUS PRIME, Peter Cullen! That makes up for it.
I like Ozzy’s the best so far. Mr. T is a close second.

I like the Ozzy one better out of the two. The Mr. T one is funny too.

I thought William Shatner’s Shaman one was OK. though i doubt any of these celebrities know what they’re talking about, just the check they got from blizz

I’ll let you all in on a little secret…
While me and the crew are setting up for Project Lore shoots, I play Ozzy’s Crazy Train.
It gets everyone up and ready for the day, and now to have Ozzy do a video with Blizz… woot!
Makes me happy to think Blizz and I are on the same page.

ITS GONE :O

The multi succubus warlock getting beat by Arthas himself nearly tops the Nightelf Mohawk hacker.
The second doesn’t compare to them.
By Nylow on Thursday, November 20th, 2008 at 2:47 pm
Of course the Ozzy one is hilarious.
The other, i think they could have just added to it. I get it as I have seen most of the Soprano’s episodes, but 15 sec, all others are 30.
I can see a battle between Ozzy and Mr. T now.

I agree with pretty much everyone else. :p 1st one is awesome, 2nd one is too short and bad lol.

The Ozzy commercial is perhaps the best yet. A great combination of personality, WoW cliches (Undead Warlocks with a retinue of Succubi), and pop culture parodies (There can only be one Prince of Darkness).
If anything, at the very least it competes with Mr. T because of better machinima and arguments with Mr. Condescending Director.

I liked the first one alot better than the second one that’s for sure. Overall, Verne Troyer, Mr.T and Ozzy are my favorites…now don’t go all ”Shut up, fool!” on me…it’s just my personal opinion ‘>.>

The Steve Van Sandt one could’ve been a made a little more interesting, but Godfather 3 sucked anyways.

Only one for me: Verne Troyer

I feel bad for Van Sandt ^^”"

Sorry, but I think that Ozzy Osbourne could definitely take both Steve Van Sandt and The Lich King in a fight and reclaim the title, “Prince of Darkness”. You hear that Steve Van Sandt and The Lich King, Ozzy Osbourne is coming for you.

lol you know whats funny i bet shatner really does play wow and i could totally see him being a shaman

Ozzy and Mr. T. pretty much sew it up, although Verne Troyer is a close third. Both Troyer and Shatner have the confidence of spellcasters in their descriptions, but Verne pulls it off better, while Shatner… doesnt.
T and Ozzy both get into an argument with the director, but let’s face it, Ozzy is the #*@&’n Prince of Darkness, and if the director or the Lich King doesn’t like it, they can go ride a Crazy Train… right off the rails.
