Rogue/Hunter isn’t too bad of a combo, I got like 1700 rating back in season 2 now I play with a mage but it’s not a bad combo, also Alexis I should’ve suggested that you get your battlemaster’s before you get medallion since if you already had a +20 resil blue then another +20 isn’t better than bm crit/ap/etc

OMG, sh is sooo lovely. Not is she extremely beautiful, but also plays 10 times better than me. I was not one of those guys that saud she can’t play, but man was I sure she only played casually if that. Wow she is good, amazing!

Oh and yeah, she also has a very nice voice!

See why can’t she be more chilled out and natural like in this video, it’s much more pleasing to watch. None of the eyes go left eyes go right shit.. just don’t give her a script and let her talk her way through the recap it will be much more pleasing to watch and probably be a lot more descriptive than the short brief that the producer/whoever gives her..

Okay, I’ll admit that I had some doubts about her actually playing the game, mainly stemming from the large amount of script-reading during the wrap-up episodes. This video convinces me that, at the very least, she plays the game, and she apparently plays it fairly well.

Now that I know she plays WoW, though, I’m curious about what makes her stumble so much during the wrap-up videos. Either she’s being told to read a script, or she’s just really nervous on camera.

I suggest this: if it’s the former, let her take a shot at doing her own wrap-up. I doubt something as simple as the weekly wrap-up needs to be explicitly written anyway. If it’s the latter, you might want to find someone more comfortable to do the wrap-ups.

I think when you use flare you should use Freeze Trap and dps the one you didnt frezee 2 on 1 and do wingclip to freezed one when you got other it will pretty good for 2v2 Btw I also think she plays you can see from her talks at wrap ups

Oh no you don’t Cruineros. You’re not going to play the good guy here. I didn’t like how the video made it out to be a coincidence that they stumbled upon her playing WoW. Before they decided to turn the camera on here they had their minds made up to dispell all of Alexis’ accusers here. No one doubts she can play. But when you act like a Project Lore pinup and do your coverage and witty remarks like a brainless bimbo we start to hate that personality. The persona that does the wrap-ups and the one here are completely different.

The Alexis here would be awesome for future episodes. And was that Dorkins with the camera?

She plays well, however a few exp in pvp would hurt, but anyway, good to know that now all the answers have benn cleared, about the vid i only need to say you felt more relax at this one, if wrap-up could be like that you would have a shoe in! just speak from your own exp. and not a script…;)

Awesome. Its always nice to see a little PvP.

Personally, I enjoy Hunter/Rouge as a combo provided you have the right spec between them. I’d say Marksman and Shadowstep is a personal fav. With the right gear and timing its a clothy destroyer. However, without the right spec or synergy it can be a very weak combo. However, Hunter/Druid is music to my ears.

Its also refreshing to hear more people know how EotS can actually be won. Yes, towers are more important then the flag, in addition when the flag is captured you gain more points based off of how many towers are under your control.

As for strategies, it sounds like Alexis and I are on the same page. If I were alliance the first place I’d send 9 people is Fel Reaver. However, I play horde so if they listen they usually lay waste to Dreanai(sp?) Ruins. Of course leaving one behind for Mage Tower(Alliance) or Blood Elf Tower(Horde). While the other remaining player fend off the zerg of the other established territories. After you have territory and the people to guard it, then go mid, grab flag, repeat turn in… win in no time.

Hopefully this becomes a regular thing… PvP is ze fun.

I don’t know what others were thinking when they said Alexis couldn’t play, be it because she didn’t talk so naturally on wrap-ups or so.

Ofc, there are good players, and players who are not as good as the “Uber pwnage dudes” but hey, if you can enjoy the game, that makes you more pro than others.

The minute I heard that she played a hunter I fell in love with her (not seriously), because I leveled up from 1-70 as a MM hunter, did all the instances as MM, then at 70 I respecced to BM, but then specced back to MM ‘cuz I like MM more.

And OFC everyone likes her! The problem with WoW players is that almost everyone calls you a no-life or nerd the second you say “I play WoW”. This really gets you frustrated, no matter how you try to convince them that it’s no different from other games (Except that it pwns and is better than other games). And due to this fact, it is Uncommon to see a girl playing WoW, Rare to see a girl who actually likes it, Epic to see her having lvl 70 toons and Season 4 gear, Legendary that she is funny, good-looking and other else.

Let’s admit it, everyone would die for a email from her.

I could honestly care less.

I had my reasons to be suspect and they were perfectly acceptable reasons at that. One of them being the fact that I am female myself.

I can’t recall anybody bluntly saying “she can’t play” because I don’t think anybody even thought that to begin with. I don’t understand why words were shoved into our mouths like that. One little suspect comment comes up and all hell breaks loose. All anybody ever wanted was a little evidence that she could back up what she said.

As I said in my other posts from back then, I would love to be proven wrong and I was. I don’t know why everyone’s got this “IN YER FACE” attitude. Seriously. You don’t need to defend her and act so stuck up. She can obviously defend herself.

There are what, 11 million people that play worldwide? Casual and hardcore, and with online activities becoming a primary means of entertainment and socialization, is it really a shock that not everyone that plays looks like you? And srsly, even if she (Alex) didn’t, who cares?

I’m not seeing ads running before these videos, and the only thing I do see that’s “ad-like” is for a monitor the VAST majority of us can’t afford or won’t be getting.

Wasn’t Dorkins with the camera cause she was using his comp and he was talking about dorkins how he had crazy macros and stuff. So was probably another dude. Was very nice to see her more human on this episode. the wrap ups seem very “botted” if you get what i mean, Project lore is all about being casule the guys just muck around dissing each other and saying who does most dps it should carry on through to the wrap up. we don’t need to know all the crazy stuff say it from a gamers point of view and with more emotion or paza and you’ll definatly enchance the project lore gaming experience.

Stop picking on her not being relaxed in other videos. Unless you have had the experience of standing in front of a camera and all the focus and attention is 100% on your every single movement, you have no idea what it feels like. Even then unless you yourself can ignore all the stress and pressure and relax in front of the camera, don’t even talk about expecting other people to do any better. I think she has done a great job in the videos thus far.

She is from the group of few exceptional female players that not only actually play WoW, but play pretty well. I wish more girls would play WoW. I found from personal experience that girls actually play better than guys do once they get past the bloody gore and violence and seriously decide to play this game. So I hope more girls will see her as an example and decide to try and play WoW with their friends.

Good idea about the pvp series..like a side series with hints and tips for different classes and teams. Only started pvping a while back so still getting the hang of it, would be useful to watch a pro show me how to play.

After viewing this film, for a non PVPer as myself, made me want too try it because it look like there more strategie into it. I Raid more then anything on a PVE server. But great Job Alexi.
