Female Toons: Are You Girls Or Guys In RL?

This toon also happens to be a RL girl.

Have you ever wondered how many of the female toons that you see in game are actually controlled by a girl player? Considering how many comments on Project Lore I’ve seen about guys trying (oftentimes without much luck) to get their girlfriends or wives to play WoW, my guess would be the percentage isn’t too high.

I’ve noticed that most girl gamers, including myself, prefer to roll girl characters. That’s true for RPGs, fighting games, adventure games and especially in WoW, where you really bond with your toon and stick with them for a long time. But guys? I’ve always thought that it’s strange, but I’ve known plenty who could roll either way. Especially when it comes to the female toons that look good (generally not female orcs).

Being a Horde player and a lover of all things cute, my current character is a female blood elf (the cutest feature of all - when she runs, her ears wiggle!). And since I also am a big fan of the interactive side of WoW, I tend to team up with friends for much more than just running dungeons or raids. We’ll set up a time to log on for quests, exploration, achievements, leveling professions, and generally running amuck, too. My most frequent partner in crime is another female blood elf played by none other than my husband.

So I’m always curious – when we /flirt, /hug, /kiss, /love, /lick or /em (insert provocative thing here) – how many other players out there are seriously unsure about what’s going on? For all they know, it could be two RL guys who are both cross-playing girl toons. Who would guess that it’s actually a husband and wife team just spreading the love? Maybe others don’t even think much about it. But when I see a girl toon, I‘m always wondering – is it a girl in RL, or a guy? If my girl toon /dances with them, and the RL player is a guy, do they think I’m flirting with them? Maybe we’re not meant to know who the RL person is – that adds a whole new level of mysticism to the game.

So, what’s been your experience? Do most girls really play only female toons, as I’ve noticed? How many guys out there roll either way? And do you ever wonder about toons’ RL identities, or am I the only one?

I play for fem character only if I need money :)
    (I’am a guy)

I just assume everyone is male until I hear their voices on vent. I don’t take any /emotes seriously since it is just a game.

Though I have met some people in game that appear to have fallen in love with a toon in game…..that gets to weird for me.

By Jenjen on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 2:58 pm

I’m a girl and all my toons are female, not because they’re cute (Most of my toons are Tauren) but because it’s feels weird playing a bloke when I’m not one.

When I got my boyfriend to play with me he decided to play a female tauren too, but because he thought the male ones looked stupid. In fact the only thing he plays which are male are trolls. Weirdo.

Only sometimes do I get the, “omg r u rilly a gurl?” when I’m playing

    …I don’t reply to those.

By Talcoya on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 3:05 pm

I am a guy and I play a girl just because I like the way they attack better and thats the only reason why. I have seen alot of people automatically thinking im a girl.

By Sicari on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 3:05 pm

Female here and I only play female toons. Most peeps do assume I’m male until corrected via vent or I tell them.
I know a few guys who only play female characters with female names. It gets weird because when we used to play all the time and chatting on vent, I always called them by the girl names. Weird. lol

I recustomized my male tauren druid to a female tauren druid when the option became available!

    Tauren… Female…’nuff said right?

By Myooze on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 3:05 pm

Female here. All female toons. Is it worth blogging over? Hardly.

A lot of the guys I know with female toons only role as such because either a) The male race for said character is fugly (Night Elves) or b) The females just straight up look better in most armor.

Normally I just assume the gender of the person IRL is whatever their toon is. But it doesn’t matter. :\

By Crys on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 3:09 pm

ppl also assume Im male… just not enough ladies playing I guess…

I dont play male toons but have a lot of male friends that play female toons as alts.

By tinyphreak on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 3:09 pm

I strive to treat everyone rather gender neutral when I don’t know their RL gender - not trying to find out either way, nor assume anything.

The major thing that I’ve come across both in myself and others is the tendency to treat the person differently after finding out. Hence I’ve started to try and not treat anyone differently because of gender, but instead because of relation overall; e.g. how long I’ve been playing with the person in question or what we’ve done together and, probably most important of them all, how they treat me and other people.

So, that’s the lesson kids. By all means, be curious, but when getting the answer don’t let it could your mind and make you treat them differently… it’s still the same personality and it’s still the same actions taken by the person. That’s to say unless the person has been flat out lying about their gender in the first place, then you’re free to treat them as you wish (preferably more towards the bad direction, in my opinion).

That’s my rather long and drawn out domment about it all.

PS. I mainly play female toons, but keep away from the overly pretty race and appearance combinations. Undead females, often with a flaw of some kind, though my main Undead Priest doesn’t have any most of my female characters just doesn’t fit the typical character that a girl/woman would pick. I never hide that I’m a man though, but then again I never blast it out over the speaker system either - it’s up the the people to ask me if they insist in knowing.

I play mostly female toons since i like the female models much better. I mean come on male human /shiver. The only males i play are my undead priest and my night elf druid.

BTW i am male even though a lot of people think i am female because of the way i talk in Gchat. The big thing is just be honest about who you are because lying just causes stupid drama.

By LuntiX on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 3:16 pm

I’m, myself, am a guy, I usually roll male characters. Though the odd time I’ll roll a female depending on the race. Most of my Blood Elves are females, most of my humans are females, everything else is male.

I’m leaning towards rolling only male characters but sometimes a female character will mix things up a bit.

By Jenjen on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 3:18 pm

    @tinyphreak

You’ve kind of ruined your point about not treating someone differently because of their gender by assuming all women want to play are pretty characters

By Rawelo on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 3:20 pm

well.. i’m playing on a RP-server (Steamweddel cartel) and i’m a guy.. and i do only have male toons.. not that there is anything wrong in playing a female toon on RP-server when you are a guy..

but It feels wrong when i’m playing a female toon…

By kiley on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 3:33 pm

i think this post just shows exactly what guys and girls think about whether their toon is male of female. As for guys, it seems pretty apparent that it doesn’t really matter whether our toon is male or female. We’re gonna do the same thing with each character (play the game, kill stuff, get loot and make gold). Being a guy myself and also an alt-aholic (sp?) i like to diversify with each alt, trying out new professions, new looks and sure a female toon. From what i’ve noticed guys don’t really tend to really bond with their toon like most girl gamers i’ve come across. While i’ll have too many different characters, most girl gamers wonder how i can play a female dreani mage one day and the next i’m back on my male nightelf druid. To me i just like the ability to try new characters and aspects of the game.

By kiley on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 3:34 pm

oh and with the percentage of girl gamers growing but still VASTLY outnumbered by guys i tend to just naturally assume all toons i see are guys.

By tinyphreak on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 3:36 pm

    @Jenjen:

    1. That’s not in any way related to treating the actual person differently, so the point with your comment is rather mute.

    2. However, you did point me to the possibility of making a slight error in communicating my own comment since English is my second language and all.

That said, after looking over my comment, maybe I should have switched it over a little, making it say “character that a girl/woman in general would pick”.

Also, you have to take in regard that everyone that writes will write from their own experience, and that’s not any less true in my case. Most girls I know, and it’s more than I need to safely make a general statement on it, will make pretty characters (whether they’re male or female).

By slog on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 3:40 pm

I (me guy) play male characters and could only ever see myself playing male toons. My wife (her girl) also plays her same gender. She has a Dwarf Hunter, Human Mage, Dwarf Priest, and NE Warrior and I couldn’t see her ever playing a male toon. It just seems to wierd otherwise.

I do kid her that only girls play Dwarf females because there is not the eye candy for the boys like there is for human, NE, Blood Elf female toons. You don’t see many Dwarf or Gnome females dancing naked on tables so I think that strengthens my point ;)

By lawlurbad on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 3:44 pm

I play a girl toon because i dont want to be starring at a guys ass all day. :(

By @C_Rust on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 3:44 pm

I am a male who mostly plays male toons. While I pick race based their specific benefits, gender is an aesthetic choice. I’m in a guild that uses a vent, so there’s not much opportunity for people to misrepresent themselves. Most of the women I know roll female toons exlusively.

By Mark on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 3:45 pm

Well, I’m a guy and my main is a female Draenei priest. The reasoning behind this goes all the way back to Wizardry I. Every time I played that game I made the melee-types male and magic-types female. That was a rule I followed (when possible) through all RPGs I’ve played since.

So, when starting WoW, I didn’t give it much thought and rolled female for my priest and mage. It wasn’t until Marchell was in her 40s that I came to the realization that a dude playing a female character might be a bit…. odd. I dropped the 20ish mage but decided that 40 (especially for a priest) was too much work to abandon.

So, I’ve kept my female priest and ground her up to 75. Surprisingly enough, I’ve found that the gender you play is less of an issue the higher you are. I don’t think I’ve heard one “are you a grrl?” question in Northerend, something that happened (rarely) in the “classic” WoW areas.

main: Marchell, Enchanting/Tailoring lvl 75 Holy Priest, Echo Isles.

By Lazareth on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 3:48 pm

I play both. Some characters looks awsome as males in armor and some look better as females. Thats the only reason.

I used to find it funny though when me and my fiance (she plays a female) would just be mucking around and flirting doing /kiss and /lick etc and people would stop and say “damn thats hot!!” in /say lol

By Worldtree on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 3:49 pm

I’m male, I have a female tauren druid. The reason isn’t really what you’d expect: I was on the PTR a long time ago, attempted to play a premade druid (who was always female) and I got attached to the character. I remade her on the live realms, and now she’s my main. Nobody really notices, I’m always shape-shifted anyway. I kind of like the unique-ness of female tauren, since they’re much less common than male characters. The only downside is that female taurens seem to be the buggiest model, I couldn’t enter wintergrasp to defend the fortress unless I flew in myself, the door apparently wouldn’t fit me even while shape-shifted or shrunk.

A couple of the people in my guild actually play female toons as well, when I know they’re male. Each of us had fun poked at us at some point, but we’re past that.

It’s all personal preference, it seems.

By b4k4 on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 3:49 pm

Im a guy, and I tend to go either way, depending on my mood when I create the character. I also tend to get into the Role-Playing aspects of WoW alot, so sometimes when I make a toon for use in RP it ends up being female.

I will say that I leave most decisions for creating a new character until I’m actually at the creation screen. The one time I had a fully conceived notion in my head it was for a dranei priestess who I wanted to use for roleplay. I ended up killing her off because she was getting in the way of leveling my main (which is a male).

By Lee Andrew on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 3:55 pm

I am a guy, playing only girl chars. When I play this game for hours, the last thing I want to see is a mans behind, eewww.

Female chars are great eye-candy, its a major reason why I like this game. :-)

By Nextgener on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 4:00 pm

Pfft, I know some Girl chars who play Guy Chars.

And yes I recustomized 1 of my guy chars into a gril. My Priest.

By Edyion on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 4:07 pm

I am a woman and i play girl toons cause i feel more comfortable playing a female. I have like one guy toon that i rolled but i don’t even play him. I have several girl friends that play and they all play females as well, and about 8 active female members in my guild that play female toons as well.

On occasion we get new guildies and PUGs that give us that whole “GIRL = guy in real life” line and we do have some guys that play girl toons in our guild but i think its all personal perferance in the long run. I personally like playing a girl and being open about being a girl to show up guys that think girls cant play. I think deep down all girls feel this way. I also think more girls play than we know about too they just aren’t as vocal as some of us.

By Slyfanitor on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 4:09 pm

My main is a male, but my alts are females (I’m a guy IRL)
When I made my Warlock I decided that this character that I will play the most would be my “link” to my RL self…
All my alts (dk included) are females, only exception being my only horde character Mojomaster, a Troll shaman that hasn’t gotten past lvl10 since I only made him to scout ahead, so I could decide my path when I went to fish for Old Crafty in Org…
I think it’s everyones right to choose what they want to be, that’s the whole point of RPG IMHO :D

By brandywine on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 4:11 pm

I am girl and I play both. My main is female blood elf and I have a special love for male trolls, but really I’m fine with playing either.

By WML on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 4:21 pm

I’m an old-school RPG’er and DM, so its actually all about the character and how they fit their role. I have a grumpy old male Human mage with silver hair and a penchant for wearing pointy purple hats, and a female Dranei priest who likes to float… Whatever I feel fits that character, goes. I’m controlling the character, but I don’t feel its my own personality.

I guess that’s the main difference: for some people, their WoW character is a personal avatar, a digital representation of themselves, like in SecondLife etc. For me, its just a digital character I’m bringing life to.

By Hatell on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 4:22 pm

1: Don’t care about the RL player gender. I’ve stopped responding that I’m a girl finally. XD
2: Emotes are used for silliness, thanking someone, or hating on someone.
3: No, most girls don’t only play Female toons. I’ll only play male Trolls or Forsaken. I got for the aesthetics . I have a friend that pretty much only play male characters, though her main is female simply because she lvled it with her Boyfriend.
4: I call people by their character’s gender and most don’t care anymore. Unless I hear them on vent, don’t care one witt.

By Dayrius on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 4:30 pm

    im a dude
I roll both, male night elf
and female draenei(go sick of looking at a nasty male one)

By Shoogs on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 4:40 pm

I am a male and on occasion will role a female toon. I don’t put much thought into it, other than I’m ready for a change of scenery. My current main just so happens to be a female Blood Elf rogue. I rolled her because the BElf chics look a lot like my wife, I even named her after the pet name I have for my wife. Unfortunately the wife hates video games in general and loathes the time that WoW takes from her cuddle time. I guess it’s my way of subconsciously introducing my wife into the World of Warcraft, knowing that she will never play the game. As far as who is what in RL, I really never think about it. I see the toons for what they are in the game. The moment I log on, all concern about the real world is gone and I immerse myself into the game. I really don’t have any problem with chics playing guys or guys playing chics and I’m not desperate or socially inept enough to actually ask someone in-game what gender they are.

By elfennau on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 4:42 pm

I’m a female. Most of my characters are female (purely a visual preference thing), but I do have males too. My husband has about equal amounts of either sex. However, I mostly don’t think about what the sex of the person playing another character is. It just makes no difference to me, because I really don’t feel that gender has anything to do with how the person is going to perform in a group. And in the end, that’s all that matters to me when I team up with random unknown characters/people.

By Sardit on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 4:46 pm

My main is a dreanei priest, male, i have 3 alts who are all females, human ne and a blood elf, i also have 2 male alts. Hardly play those though. Strangely i find that they can pull a lot a crap in instances that would not be accepted from males, Leave the pet on agressive and cause wipes, the /em, something silly / flirty and no one flames me. Shame on you guys ! Treat my girl toons the same you treat my male toons.

    btw, i’m a guy :P

I started the female toons mainly because they were pretty to look at, and i decided to test group behaviour against toons a bit. It seems girls get away with loads more crap then male toons do

By Bastosa on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 4:48 pm

Of the 5 characters I have above level 60, 3 of them are male, 2 of them are female. So I suppose I am fairly neutral on this issue. I guess I just try and pick what makes most sense for the race/class combination I pick.

I have friends in my guild that are all of the above combinations. Guys playing girls, girls playing guys, girls playing girls, and guys playing guys.

I do find it interesting that people in game (that I don’t know) do tend to treat me a little different when I am on my female toons.

By Mister Edgar on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 5:27 pm

I use to play male & female in other games but decided to stick with male in WoW (I’m also male in RL)

All the people I know in RL who play WoW are RL female and are playing female in the game.

I use /flirt a lot in the game, it makes people laugh, it’s just an in game thing. My male toon is flirting with your female toon it doesn’t go further then that! ^^

By Bladenkirst on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 5:33 pm

I’m a guy and I made my first main toon a female BElf warlock primarily because it was the best looking character I made that day. Since then, all of my alts have been males (taurens to be exact). For me, it’s just how I feel on that day I guess.

By Krow on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 5:36 pm

I refuse to play anything but Female unless I’m a Tauren, I think most/all the male models in the gay look horrid.

By Maribellis on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 5:41 pm

I’m male and i use to play only male toons, but i noticed that the gm of the guild i was in had 4 70’s all female and i asked him about finally and he said if he was gonna have to spend a lot of time with toons might has well be looking at a female then i started making female toons and i just like them better i like their animations better my newest main is my 80 be rouge and she is a girl. I still like my guy toons too but i don’t know just like the female toons better. and i never have had an issue with someone thinking I’m female. All guildies and people i play with know there is a guy controlling that cute rouge

By Maribellis on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 5:43 pm

P.S. Of all the female players I have met I have never seen one with a male toon, strange.

By Kayaanai on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 5:53 pm

I play a girl because as another poster said above night elf males look stupid and a druid with bulky armor! No thank you *shakes head*

By pauldy on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 5:54 pm

I have one of each, amazing how many lonely dudes are out there vying your virtual affection.

By Kathy on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 5:55 pm

But I’m a girl so that’s not so weird :-)

By Ntieoen on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 5:57 pm

When I started my first alliance alt,
I made all the characters I have on that realm female, despite not being so.
At around about level 10 I was invited to join what I thought was a ridiculous guild,
I was intrigued, and joined, this was by far the most retarded guild I’ve ever seen,
and on my main realm, there are some pretty bad ones.

What struck me so much about this guild is nobody seemed to be truly female - except the gleader who is genuinely the nicest person in the world - of warcraft -
because all they talked about was being female,
which clued me in to them not really being Women of Warcraft.

By Mooshake on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 6:09 pm

I’m a guy but my current main is a female gnome deathknight, I think my guild picked up that I’m a guy by how I wrote before I got on vent, but I play female toons mostly because they are pretty. It gets a little wierd when the IRL females start talking with me about which hairstyles we find cuter on gnomes.

By Illithian on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 6:10 pm

I play girl toons because basically all the male toons are either fat, ugly, or gay looking. *cough* Belf.

By Hank on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 6:22 pm

Most of my toons are male, but I do have one NE female and a BE male.

By kaworu on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 6:50 pm

I’m male IRL but I always play as female characters. I guess if I’m going to sink a lot of time in a game I’d rather be looking at a female avatar.

By hanintodd on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 6:58 pm

at first i had a hard time realzing that guys do play female toons ( why ill never understand). i rember this one time i was running a lowbie guildee with a female guild member when she suggested using voice chat. i hertalyed agreed it would improve communaction. when i hear her voice it is that of a 50 year old southern man that makes me think of a pedohille for whatever reason i dont know it just does. lets say the rest of the instance was akward for me

By hanintodd on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 6:59 pm

oh btw why is there no guide for azjol nerub or ankahet yet? the episodes were done 1-2 weeks ago and im in need of the extra strategy the guide provides :(

By Voldenmist on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 7:04 pm

I’ll admit that I have some female toons. However the only real reason I made those toons female is because I like that modle w/ that certain class. Take my mage for example, when I made her as an alt, I first tried so many diferent male skins. I made her human as I wanted a human mage, that much was for sure; but when I tried all the make faces/ hair style/ Facial hair setups, I was not particularly happy w/ any of them as a mage. I then switched over to female and was swamped w/ humans who just cried out “I LOOK LIKE A MAGE”. So I went w/ a female. Now this dosn’t mean all my toons are female, to me, gender in games is just another decision shape the story or feel of your character; and while I’m not a big RPer, I still have some RP feel to each character that I make. For another example, when I rolled my first horde, I wanted an undead hands down; I then decided to roll preist, but I went w/ male b/c that’s what I personally liked. And when I made my horde DK, I made the surprising choice to roll a female tauren; not b/c I have a cow fetish or anything, but just b/c I’ve always thought female tauren DK’s looked awesome.

On another note, I ALWAYS inform ppl who I group w/ or random people who try to flirt w/ me when I am on a female toon that I am a male irl. But I don’t do this alot as my main Ally is male and my main horde is male as well. :D

By Apogeus on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 7:10 pm

Im a male IRL and i play both male and female toons.

I usually choose the gender based on if its choosen many times on my server. For example when i rolled a DK, i picked a female troll, just cause you dont see that race gender/class that much. Could have also rolled a Female Orc DK wich only saw 1 time so far.

However my mains is a male since it was my first chr on the server and being my main think i prefer it being a male, but dont have any problems rolling female toons.

By Scrap on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 7:39 pm

I play a female Nelf hunter, dude IRL. Since there isn’t any difference other than looks I choose the gender that will look better.

By Caunwen on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 7:43 pm

I’m a girl and I’ve always rolled female. For my reasoning, I think it’s kinda cool to see a female character owning in a arena or raiding as a tank. Because of that, I suppose, I get quite attached to my female toons in the end. Also, not that I mean offense to anyone, but the male character don’t look…very attractive.

On another note, I have several male friends that always roll female, too (though their first toon was a male). Once I asked one of them why they always faked their gender. His simple answer was, “I don’t want to look at a guy’s butt when I’m raiding for two hours. Really, I don’t.”

My daughter just started playing recently. Her char’s are guys. I asked her about it and she told me “If I’m gonna to look at a pretend butt, I’d rather it be a guys.” Somethings father’s just don’t want to know.

The only female toon I ever rolled was a night elf/ blood elf. Why? they are seksi :)

By Cuppincakes on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 9:00 pm

I’m a girl and I only play girls if I can, because I don’t make up characters that are different from myself. If I could play for the Horde as a human female raised by Trolls, with a loft in Silvermoon, I would. But, I can’t. I usually stick to Trolls because I like the cultures they’ve borrowed from for them. The guys do capoeira, the cities are inspired by Meso-American architecture, and they’re religion is a play on voodoo and various shamanistic rites.

As for other people, I really don’t care much at all. I’m looking to play, not for a date, so what you play as is of little concern to me. For the record though, most of my guild is made up of girls who migrated from a more girly game. Some of the newer recruits who are guys were a bit surprised at first, but that’s about it.

I did have this one guy ask me if I was a real girl as I was standing in the middle of the Xroads turning in a quest. I hadn’t spoken to him or anything beforehand. I asked him if he was a real orc, and then headed out to Ratchet. He followed me all the way there and went on some tirade about how it would be wrong of me to play a girl if I wasn’t one. That was pretty much my first and only WTF moment regarding gender. I ignored him and went on my merry way.

Oh, there was this one tauren druid in cat form who basically used the emotes to hump my avatar while I was in ghost wolf sitting at the mailbox near the bank in Org. No, just…no. He followed me around a bit and I think I screamed something like “I need an ADULT” in gen chat. I’m 26.

By Imepic on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 10:16 pm

I’m a guy my main are orc female warrior I simply made this because there aren’t much orc females arround and I wanted some diffrent. My alt paladin is human male (only 79) Belf mage is female just because male looks gay. My lock and rogue are undead males.

It’s an RPG has nothing to do with what you really are irl. I choose gender after looks and what fits best to the class.

By Stridah on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 10:19 pm

All my characters are male, it just feels wrong to play a fe-male since I’m a male…

By Spikolie on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 10:52 pm

my wife rolls a female undead and i prefer the male version, she’s been playing for about 4 years and i started about 2 years ago when i met her on myspace… yess myspace…. (she liked my picture)… hehe

By swanzo on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 11:14 pm

im a guy and about 80% of the time i roll a female toon. idk what it is but there is something about a female protagonist that i find much more interesting and enjoyable than i do in a male protagonist… i also don’t want to stare at a guys ass for like 4 hours at a time. it may not be real ass but its still man ass :P

By Dreyja on Monday, March 9th, 2009 at 11:59 pm

Wow this is something I’ve been wondering a lot about lately to be honest. I consider guildies friends (of a sort) and yeah, I use emotes as just part of interacting and laughing with people. I’m NOT hitting on anyone in game.

I am ALWAYS surprised to find out that someone I thought I kinda knew was actually a dude “wearing” a F. Nelf. I’m a woman and so it was just natural for me to roll a female. Gender is part of how we interact with people, for good or ill.

I just don’t get it but then I choose a female DWARF (yes!) because I like the lore of the race and I don’t really care if her chest bounces when she moves. ;-p What’s not to love in a gal that can drink you under the table. ;)

So, no offence to guys that roll female toons but if your doing it to look at something pretty, that is just weird (to me). This is an “avatar” after all, an extension of yourself. *shakes head* But then I over-think all of this stuff. :)

By Iunar on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 12:08 am

i dont think it is that i want to play a female char it is more that night elf males remind me to much of mj in a bad way hehe.

By Juggynaut on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 12:12 am

I am a boy IRL, my main is a female draenei shaman. Male draenei are some of the ugliest in the game, so I find it very difficult to roll one.

By Balius on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 1:12 am

I have just as many male toons as female, using the 10 characters per server, 10 classes per side, 10 race/gender combinations.

    I’m a male.

By Aadjed on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 1:47 am

Im male and i have a few toons, 2 of which are female. I like the comments about ppl not wanting to look at the same gender ass. As i am a healer on my main (resto drood), I spent most of my time looking at avatars in the top right corner of my screen en rest of my time i spent riding/flying of shapeshifted. Regarding other players I see them as their avatars. I am very bad with names, if a female toon tells me he is male IRL. i still concider him female the next day lol.

So i usally dont care whos on the other side of that one Nelf whos /flirt-ing with me,

    MARTHIDS WAS HERE!!!

By Coxy on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 2:43 am

I primarily rolled an Undead Warlock for my first main. He was a male. all my small alts before that a been male variations of other class combination.

I tend to play mainly with my guildies now and am leveling up a Female BE Paladin with a friend of mine who is a female paladin and a female in Real Life. We will do all sorts of /emotes while playing but we know its just for fun. My guild mates know im a guy and they dont see anything wrong with leveling a female character.

Female characters tend to be a lot nicer to look at for most of us guys. There’s not much desire to play some macho dude as that would just queue an inferiority complex.

By Valentinex on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 4:39 am

I’ve actually known a girl to roll a male blood elf paladin purely because she thinks that the females would crumble and get squished under all the plate armor she wears xD

But yeah, my paladin started off as a male blood elf before having paid to get a gender switch.

Now my friends call me the Tranadin because of that D:

By jimbob on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 5:57 am

I’m a guy IRL, and apart from my very first toon (tauren warrior) every char ive rolled since then (and i have quite a few - altaholic) has been fem. Undead ‘lock, BE pally, human priest, Draenie shaman, NE drood, even a dwarf DK (love her to bits, but really scary laugh!)

Why do i play females? Don’t know the answer, i just prefer to, and not as some say because they prefer to be looking at a nice ass, i just have an ‘affinity’ with female toons, go figure!

I dont lie about my gender and if someone asks i tell them, but all my guildies know my gender ofc.

By hai on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 6:09 am

i roll my race and gender most often according to class and racial abillitys(prolly bad spelling) and ofc how the gear will look on them^^ like if im a N-elf warrior i roll male, if i am a B-elf Priest i roll female :D

By Nalamin on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 6:12 am

Male here and I’m assuming that most female toons are men there are multiple female toons in my guild (which has over 500 people in it not including the alts) only one of them is actually a woman in real life.

By Nalamin on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 6:16 am

Oh and as an added note i only play guy toons its just a little weird to play a girl idk but good post!

By Sean on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 6:33 am

    My ex-rolls a female Draenaei(sp??)
she used to roll a female blood elf.

I tend to roll male characters as horde ones look badass (trolls, orcs, taurens, undead, the female counterparts look odd).

My ex has also ganked me. :(

But I’ve kicked her ass more so, even got my [Make Love, Not Warcraft!] achievement on her when she was attacking Camp Taurajo.

It’s quite a sad little thing we have going. :(

By Phos on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 6:42 am

I play both male and female characters, it depends on what race and class the toon is goin to be.

When it comes to stumbling apon another toon i will treat them for what race the toon is, now that doesnt mean i will /flirt or /kiss them but refer to them as female.

I have a few fellow guildies who are male but have rolled female toons, i still refer to them in guild as “her”.

It makes no difference to me if the players male or female, it’s how they play and who they play.

    my two cents anyway.

By katabrie on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 7:14 am

I play a 80 DPS warrior . I am female . I play with my son and grandson (I was 64yr on my last birthday) and I love this game ..I have had player asked me if I am a female . They are alway surprised that not only am I a girl but a grandmother .. The guild I am in Can’t quit you on Baelgun gave me a special title of Guild Mom .

By Secretive on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 7:29 am

I have tended to play mostly male characters, as I am a guy, but I recently made a draenei female as Juggynaut put it male draenei are the ugliest in the game. People occasionally pester me, but i just point them off to other RL guys who have females.

By Mirabai on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 8:10 am

I’m a girl and I play female characters just because I like playing my own sex. I love trying out all classes and professions and so far the only race I haven’t rolled is Dwarves. I prefer Draenei because I love the lore, and the character design. Though now I kind of want to roll a male Draenei because apparently they get no love.

No one’s ever asked me if I’m really a girl, or given me stuff for being a girl, or harassed my female toons. So the gender issue is just not a big deal for me. People can play whatever sex they want (although staring at my toon’s ass seems weird. I’d rather be staring at my mini map.)

And FWIW, everyone I know in real life who plays WoW are female, and in stunning role-reversal, my boyfriend hates how much time I spend on WoW. Go figure.

By Najata on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 8:31 am

I’m a female and I play female toons. When I make an alt is it automatically female … picking a male toon has just never crossed my mind.

I find most ppl assume i’m male because I play a Prot Warrior and apparently girls don’t tank. People are pretty surprised when they join our guild and learn that the two main tanks for 25 man Naxx are both girls (love hearing the shock in thier voices when they hear us on vent for the first time).

But I honestly don’t even pay attention to what gender someones toon is. It’s not important .. it’s just asthetic and has no baring on how well they play.

By Cyan on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 8:52 am

Wow apparently I’m the odd women out so to say. My main is a male NE Druid and my alts are about half and half (although my 70s waiting to be lvled tend to be male). I dont really know why i choose the male NE but the game for me is about questing and playing with friends not really worrying about what my characters look like all the time. Being a feral Druid means I spend most of the time in animal form anyway. As for determining the gender of players, I never make any assumptions until I hear the player’s voice in vent. :P

By Simon on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 9:18 am

Doesn’t really matter what gender u play.. my main is a male orc warlock, and got 2 70+ alts, a male belf DK (i know.. xD) and a female tauren druid. My raid leader is a girl IRL and plays a female belf pally :)

By Felith on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 9:20 am

I’ve alway chosen my sex by what race and class I make for example Blood Elf Paladin = Male, Blood Elf Warlock = Female, Tauren Druid = Female. I don’t play female characters because I think its cool, or to run around org. with no clothes on like one of my friends but because I can’t see a guy being that race and class. (I’m a guy)

By Silver on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 9:24 am

I’m a girl, and play all female chars but just becuase i feel weird sitting behidn a male char. i always assume every player is a guy until im corrected, theres just so many more guys then girls playing. but oddly enough i know more girls in wow then i know guys >.<

i never tell people in random parties that i’m a girl unless they seem really cool and are making it to my friends list, but the few times i have i get free stuff, free runs, whatever i want. some people take it way too far that a girl’s playing. but if it’s a friend, they don’t care that i’m a girl, i’m just another person playing.

By Dharrion on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 9:50 am

I just LOVE the female draenei, troll and UD.
But through that i am a guy IRL. I just think there fighting style and running style is owning.

By Wrongway on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 9:57 am

I’m a girl and I play both male and female toons. My main is a human female pally, but I have several male toons that I like just as well. I usually assume that the person behind the toon is the same sex as what they play until told otherwise or I hear their voice on vent. Not that I care either way, I pretty much treat everyone the same. If they’re nice, I’m nice. If not, I can roll that way, too…LOL

My daughter plays and her toons are female, I guess she just prefers them to the males. Her hubby rolls both, especially when the male is very large like the Tauiren. He says he can’t see around them so he’ll roll female for the smaller size.

I do get people who are shocked that I’m a girl in RL, especially when they find out my age and that my daughter and son-in-law also play…LOL.

By Darkeon on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 10:38 am

Let me tell you a story or a Blood Elf Priestess while she was adventuring on the realm of Bone Crusher.

It all started out cuz the guy that controlled her wanted to play with his in-laws and really didnt like any of the male horde avatars so he chose a female. When he got her to level 10 he got her into a guild and began running instances and being in groups just to heal.

The priest made quiet an impact on her guild and was quickly promoted through the ranks. She caught the eye of one of the guild’s officers, a level 70 Tauren Druid (at that time TBC was the main expansion and Wrath was in the distant future nobody knew about). The Druid began to run her through many instances without asking for anything in return except to be friends.

They where always talking whenever the druid was on and one day when they were running through BFD the druid asked if she had a myspace. She said yes an gave him one of her dud myspaces and in return she got his. They finally knew what each other looked like but one of them was lieing. They continued to flirt with each other up until she was level 40 and her old friends on Crushridge wanted her back.

She in turn went and transfered over to CR and began a whole knew life. This time she couldnt have her way with the guys in the guild since they all knew who was controling her.

Now the priest gradually got to level 50 and met a few new people on the way, they all happened to be ensared in the lie she concocted for that poor druid. She meet another 70 Tauren but this time a Warrior. She meet him while doing quests to kill the furblogs in felwood and he was rep grinding. The Tauren then gradually became ensared and ran her through lbrs multiple times. She also could just ask him and he would drop whatever he was doing and come help her at a moments notice, if it wasnt when his guild was raiding(he was their main tank).

So in the end she got to level 70 while weasling her way into the hearts of many men…

In short never trust a female character who says they are a female unless you know them in real life…cuz trust me people can do underhanded deeds and in this story not once was did the priest ask for any gold or items….the 70s just ran her through instances even without her asking….well granted she never asked even once. And yes I was controling her and im a guy in real life so deal with it -.- but ive learned to never make another female character again cuz of what happened during the story.

The males fell head over heels for the “girl” that was playing.

By Shamalamabam on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 10:58 am

I’m a guy in real life, and I play mostly female toons, because I think the models look better. I’m also not a draenei, nor a shaman, in real life. I have been asked maybe 3 times in the last year if I want to be someone’s girlfriend. No problem, I just say I already have someone and move on. I don’t hide who I am from the guild, and most of us are over 20 so there’s not a lot of the immaturity I see elsewhere in the game.

By Manuss on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 11:00 am

I am a male, play males mainly, do have a female BE rogue but that was because they looked to take up less space when crouch while stealthed than anyone else. But my mains are all male, so i guess i am like the others using the avatars to my advantage, if there could ever be an advantage (moves and armor, cooler) nothing about race at all.

I think that it would really only have a real position for discussion should you play in an RP server, then maybe an arguement,

And no offence to women, but i just think that all people are playing are “players” so every one to me is simply “dude, or man”

By Percolatte on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 11:20 am

I’m a girl and I typically play male characters because 80% of the time it’s really really annoying to deal with other people as a female character.

By Cyrus on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 11:26 am

I play a mixture of Male and female characters.. majority of my characters are based off of characters I’ve used when writing short stories…

So.. if a certain class fits a character I’ve wrote about for years i tend to use that character male or female

By Convalesce on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 11:38 am

i play pretty much all female characters and i’m a guy. the way i look at it is…if i’m going to be sitting here for hours and hours playing this game, i might as well be staring at a chick’s ass rather than a guys. lol

By Raethos on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 11:46 am

When I started playing WoW, I played females for one reason; female /silly are witty, while the male ones make them sound like macho idiots. Since then, I’ve reconciled and found a couple of races I can play as male without feeling embarrased every time I tell a joke, namely dwarf and tauren. I still play my female toons, which gets a lot of running gags in vent during guild raids.

Moral of the story; Pick based on who you are.
Draenei have big boobs, Tauren have big horns, Dwarves have big hearts.

By Ombrenoire on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 12:06 pm

In my guild we’re about 50/50 each sex. Funny story, for the longest time I thought our Guild Leader was a girl since he had rolled a Human Pally Girl. Imagine my surprise when he told us all he was a guy and his RL wife was the female Gnome Mage that is also our guild recruiter.

I asked him once, “Why a girl?”

His response was classic: “I didn’t feel like staring at a guys ass for the next sixty or so levels.”

By pixiestixy on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 12:36 pm

Wow, lots of fun responses on this one. Keep them coming - it’s fun to hear all these little details that aren’t necessarily important in-game, but interesting nonetheless :)

As I said, I’m a girl and roll all females. All the girls I know who play WoW roll females. But most of the guys I know go either way. Cool to hear of some girls out there who do, too :D

I guess it’s all just personal preference. For me, I’ve never noticed being treated any differently because I play as a girl, but that may just be because I’ve never rolled a male so I don’t know how I’d be treated otherwise. I may have to try it out now, if only for a social experiment!

By FinalHope on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 12:40 pm

If I go to call someone him/her or he/she I always go based on character gender unless someone says it offends them. I play with 3 RL friends all of which prefer to play female toons. It is a bit weird but if thats what they like so be it. I did on the other hand successfully get my girlfriend into playing WoW, and she does play female characters. I have heard the excuse of “I didn’t feel like staring at a dude for so many levels” but that’s just weird imo but again w/e floats their boat.

How about the few girls out there that play male characters? O.o

By scruffy on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 12:58 pm

i choose gender depending on race and class like if i am playing a BE (insert class here) i will normally pick a female because(no offense to people who do) the male blood elfs just look a little gay. now if I’m playing a NE druid rogue priest or hunter i will play female but normally i choose a male char for the DK. Not because i plan on sitting at my computer staring at them but i always try to find what looks best with the class/race i am playing now sometimes it just happens to be mostly females when it comes to NE and BEs because i once again think the male elves look like fairies half the time. Thats my 2 cents have fun

I’ve gone both ways with this.
I roll guys and girls, but right now I am predominately guys. I personally think its weird when guys roll BE or NE cause “theyre hot and night elves are teh s3x when they bounce.”
I only have a BE chick, cause I wanted to roll a pally and BE guys are weird looking. But I love rolling anything female, especially trolls or tauren. (If you can’t tell by now, I’m a Hordie). On my server(s) I never see many female troll or tauren and I think they look cool.
So whatever your reason is for cross gender rolling, I support it mostly.

well the factor of female characters in WoW is fully an advertisement factor, in many cases of advertisement u will see females be able to get more attention than males (fyi i am a guy and also play a female undead mage (not my main))

By penndragonii on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 1:26 pm

I personally have both male and female toons (I am a guy) my main toon is a female mage. I chose early on that if i was going to look at the same character for hours on end that i was going to have something that looked good in the armor that i was going to get….female toons look better in dresses than male toons :-)

I also have a male pally and a male DK both who look better in my opinion as tanks in plate gear.

For my first three years of playing, I refused to admit I am a girl, not just because of the weirdos who want to talk to me SPECIFICALLY because they think I am the fairer sex, but also because I’ve gotten some really hurtful things said (e,g, “You play WoW, you must be an ugly fat shut-in”). For all intents and purposes, we’re in an internet chat room. Nothing I can say will shut you up, and I refuse to “send pics” as proof of my gender and/or aesthetic pleasantness.

Thank God for Ventrilo and voice chat— Once a group hears my voice there’s no reason to even discuss the matter.

That being said, I’ve always rolled female toons, not only because I play on an RP realm and it just feels right, but also because the male toons are much larger and thus sometimes harder to see around in the heat of battle (tauren males, I’m looking at you).

By Eugen on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 1:59 pm

I’m a woman and I have both male and female toons. My main is a human male. But both my trolls are female. I base my choice of male/female on the way they dance. Literally. I always roll male draenei cause I love the clap dance. And I rolled my human as male cause I’m not doing the stupid macarana. But then again I’m weird.

By Alayea on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 3:32 pm

I have always rolled female characters because I just can’t see myself playing a male (I’m a woman IRL). The one time I actually did, I kind of got wierded out by the experience. Seeing how a Blood Elf malel ooked wearing [Bloody Loincloth of ] didn’t help either. >_>

Oh, by the way… Female players FTW. :P

    Edit:

[...] Blood Elf male looked [...]
[...] Bloody Loincloth of (something) [...]

Here’s what a guy friend of mine said..

“If you’re going to spend 6 hours a day playing a video game, what do you want to look at? A guy’s ass or a girl’s?”

By Living Vapour on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 7:26 pm

All the female people i know play male toons :O

By jurgen on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 7:41 pm

Angel’s comment is a great argument why a dude would roll as a g.i.r.l

By Fidgitt on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 10:02 pm

    Firstly, I am male IRL.

My first-ever toon for the first year and half that I have played WoW was a male, and all subsequent alts in that period of time were also male. I then transfered to another server and soon after met and made a friend, who is now my current guild leader, and joined their guild.

The guild I joined, in which I now have an 80 gnome mage as my main and an almost-80 shaman, an all-female-toon guild called Girls Gone Feral (arroooooouuu!!) *ahem* sorry >.> …. and there is a good mix of both RL female and males that play their female toons.

    *kneehugs*

Most of my characters is actually females while I myself is male in real life.

Yeah its probably cus some are more prettier then others? My Horde Pally,Priest,Mage,DK are all female blood elves.

The same can probably be said about my allies which most of them is female Humans or NE aswell.

But when I first started playing female characters it was not because of the looks.

My main character which is a Horde Female Rogue and also Orc I created mainly to honor my favorite Warcraft Lore Character Garona the Half-orc.

So in other words my main character is actually a green mean killing machine which love alot and thus not because of the looks as most consider orc female pretty ugly I guess.

My horde Hunter is a Voodoo inspired Troll female

My Ally Mage is a Gnome.

My Horde Druid a Tauren female not much of options there only gender but I could on the other hand choosen a male tauren druid but picked a female there aswell.

So my chooises is not only for the looks, as I said have of other races which most consider ugly or funny looking aswell as Taurens, trolls and gnomes etc.

The question is though why do I have so many female characters then I dont know really.
As the majority of my character is indeed female but dont think I picked them all because of looks?

Maybe in my head/mind I think some classes is better suited for females then others.

For example all my warriors are males so I guess I printed into my brains the classical cliché that males are big strong etc and better suited for Warrior or Warlock class.
While female are better suited as the spellcasting/healer and hunter types or the agile and skillful rogue class,I dont know really.

I play both actually. I love the Draenei +Hit bonus but the male Draenei are so broad on screen in tight quarters I rolled a female for my hunter. But as the big bear butt is a cross gender view blocker my druid is a male.

On Antonidas (US), it’s 50/50 on if it is a guy, or girl. Online friend is guy playing girl toon same with guildie where his wife also our GM plays a FNE Druid.

Been a male human warlock all meh life

By Dulica on Thursday, March 12th, 2009 at 8:41 am

I’m a female, and all my characters are female, my main is a female warrior that gets some looks when I get in a PUG. I’ll admit, the male characters just aren’t as cute! I also like my armor to match and I like riding my pretty horse. In my guild, there are only 4 girls! We’re pretty awesome though.

By Magradon on Saturday, March 14th, 2009 at 8:22 am

LOL @ Dulica!! (We’re guildies) So, I’m a chick, and I play only female chars. I think us girls need to take WoW by storm. Anyway, I think a good blog would be about weirdos falling in cyber “love” with us gals. I’ve had WoW stalkers and guys who actually profess their love, talk about visiting me…and all I ever did to deserve it was to be nice. /ignore

Though I am a guy IRL, I have ALWAYS played female characters. Why? Because IMO, the males are all f-ugly as hell. (No offense to those who prefer male chars).

However, when asked about my gender in-game, I will say “I’m a girl.” 95% of the time, just because I want to.

I generally don’t put it out there though, and have recently stopped correcting people every time they call me “dude”, even though I find the term offensive.

Why is that? Let me know when you find out, because I have no freaking clue.

I play on an RP server, but that has nothing to do with my reasons whatsoever, I just was a little “afraid” of what the pvp system might be like in WoW, so I avoided anything with the word “PVP” in its name.

In the words of Acrona (a friend I made in a previous MMO experience), “If I am going to be staring at my character’s butt all day, it may as well be a girl’s butt.”

I am a male and my main is a male elf hunter toon… I also create a female draenei mage (much funnier than the hunter). Now I play with the mage :(

By Nightwisher on Tuesday, March 17th, 2009 at 9:00 am

im a girl and i roll females , night elf druid here ^_^

and my fiance only says ” it feels weird rolling a chick” so i guess thats another opinion :3

guys on girl toons make me giggle

i only roll girl toons because the boyd are so godamn ugly >.>

on another note i get ALOT of shit for even playing wow and being female.
alot of ” how you doin baby” or ” wanna see my e-peen” and the famous “pics or it didnt happen”
    ::grumbles::
boys just cant take girl gamers seriously.
though im pretty sure my fully epiced resto druid would stomp some faces if i actually liked PVP’ing

By Noric on Sunday, March 22nd, 2009 at 5:13 pm

I have A LOT of toons. I’m a guy but I’d say about 75% of my toons are female though. I ‘ve been asked a lot why i play feamle toons and I usually use the excuse that I don’t wanna stare at a guys back all day. But to honest that isn’t accurate. The main reason is, regardless of the fact that I’m not actually role playing in the game, each and everyone of my toons has a backstory/history too them. Each one has a spcific reason for being that gender. The reason may be that I think the male Draenei looks awesome as a DK, or that I think a female seems more likely to be intouch with nature (my druid is female). My main, male dwarven fury warrior, was made as a stereotype. He dual-wields 2-handed axes and regularly emotes with a ‘dwarven’ accent. He even is even from a dwarven clan. My paladin is male because, to me a knight is male. More so because females were second class citizens at the time then out of any lack of ability. Oh and all my casters seem to be female, mage, warlock, shaman, because…. well let’s face it…. females tend to be a little more intelligent.

Im a guy and I rolled a Female Dwarf priest cause Im an oldschool Rpg fan, and I liked the fact that she’s healing and she’s a little cute vulnerable asset =) Its funny how fast warrior charge to help when I press “/Helpme” compared to my other male chars. XD

By Christy.aime on Tuesday, May 12th, 2009 at 10:47 pm

I’m a girl, playing a BE Holy Paly (someones gotta heal my bf’s butt :p) and Arcane Mage ( I love my paly more! Wooo) I was actually “sucked into” WoW cause of the Zebra mount :3 (I love horsies) introduced by my bf with the RAF account thing and the BE ears (which are bouncie ^_^).

I usually get thought of being a guy and I sometimes let it be if I’m in a raid or party with people that i have never ever met, but when its people i know i tell them I’m a girl and they sometimes get shocked, its funny xD

By Farseer Lolotea on Saturday, June 13th, 2009 at 2:03 pm

I’m female IRL. Most of my characters are also female. However, I’ve got one male draenei on a RP server: Contrary to all of the claims that the model is ugly, I find it rather adorable. (He looks like he’d give good hugs.)

By Bianca on Wednesday, June 24th, 2009 at 8:12 am

I’m a girl and I play male toons.

    Why?

Because I learned pretty early on that if you play a female toon, desperate guys’ll come after you :P

Besides, I don’t feel like staring at some woman all the way from lvl 1 to lvl 80 ;) Might as well have something nicer to look at ;)

By Bianca on Wednesday, June 24th, 2009 at 8:37 am

    Edit:

That being said, I seem to have an odd preference for male Trolls XD

Something about the way they move and their voices. Do da voodo shuffle! :D

By Penegal on Saturday, July 11th, 2009 at 11:15 am

On the Alliance side (Which I hate :D) I only play male with a Dwarf (I’m a guy IRL) though on the Horde side (My original side when I started playing WoW) I only play female with Befls simply because male Belfs are SOOOOOOOOOOO faggy looking xD

By Venóm on Monday, August 24th, 2009 at 6:04 pm
