iTZKooPA is not a turtle, but a Gnome born around the shores of a frozen lake in Dun Morogh. Being born a gnome iTZKooPA is an accomplished swimmer, only matched by the best of those in the Azerothian games. When not fighting off the Troggs in hopes of recapturing Gnomeregan, iTZKooPA spends his time in the shadows. Quietly stalking anyone and anything who may have the delicious loot he so direly needs to complete his next cooking recipe. You can look for him if you dare, but once you find him it may already be to late.

Love is in the Air 2010: Here We Go Again

Posted by iTZKooPA on Monday, February 8th, 2010 - 7 Comments

It’s that time of the year again, the week stretch where 80% of the WoW population tries to woo the other 20% with virtual candies, roses, affection, boss runs and poetry.  Oh, the poetry.  Love is in the Air started over the weekend, and I’ve already managed to grab one of the achievements.  Being ... Quick Thoughts On The Dungeon Finder

Posted by iTZKooPA on Friday, February 5th, 2010 - 30 Comments

Patch 3.3’s addition of the Dungeon Finder has been nothing short of a game changer.  There’s been no single feature added to World of Warcraft in its illustrious five year run that has changed the daily lives of so many players.  People are using the tool to gear alts for raiding that would have never ... Why Not Reward Those That Use An Authenticator?

Posted by iTZKooPA on Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010 - 22 Comments

Awhile back WoW.com reported that Blizzard was having serious discussions about forcing players to use Authenticators.  The behind-closed-doors talks came about due to an increasing number of hacks on player accounts.  Furthermore, many of the compromised users claim to not have shared their passwords with anyone.  The recent Google Ads-based WoW Armory scam was probably ... Useless World of Warcraft Leaders

Posted by iTZKooPA on Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010 - 10 Comments

Thrall, Jaina, Varian, Sylvanas, Magni, these are all leaders that we hold some attachment to.  Wrath of the Lich King has brought new dynamics to the characters (and in some cases armor), shown new sides of their psyche, and reinforced others.  They are more than familiar characters to players thanks to trailers, quests, and ... You Know You’re Playing Too Much WoW When…

Posted by iTZKooPA on Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010 - 8 Comments

Once the holidays wrapped up I found an incredible amount of time to dedicate to gaming.  Not only were family obligations wrapped up, but Ms. iTZKooPA has been incredibly busy searching for a job, everywhere.  She’s basically been out of the house since the new year, giving me an obtuse amount of unimpeded free time.  ... Wishful Thinking: A Simple, Time-saving Command

Posted by iTZKooPA on Monday, February 1st, 2010 - 8 Comments

Wishful Thinking is a column for the theorycrafting behind World of Warcraft.  No, not the number crunching madness perfected by the folks at ElitistJerks, but the features, abilities, and design ideas that the Project Lore writers conjure from their squishy pink stuff. World of Warcraft has been available for more than five years now.  That amount ... More

Know Thy Blogger: Heartbourne, Not Hearthbourne

Posted by iTZKooPA on Friday, January 29th, 2010 - 9 Comments

I managed to quarantine Heartbourne somewhere between brewing his latest sugary beverage to be featured on Protip (available in stores soon!) and geeking out on lore.  I refused to let him leave until he answered the tough questions that needed to be asked. It’s why hit Protip videos were late last week, honest. ProjectLore: We know where ... More

Another One Bites The Dust: Phantasy Star Universe

Posted by iTZKooPA on Thursday, January 28th, 2010 - 10 Comments

It’s with an unusually heavy heart that I report that earlier this week Sega announced the company’s intentions to shutdown the PS2 and PC servers for Phantasy Star Universe.  PSU is being shuttered on March 31, after just over three years of being the second MMOG to come from the Phantasy Star world. Ironically, the sequel ... More

Blizzard Finally Begins Selling WoW Gold. Silver & Copper Too!

Posted by iTZKooPA on Wednesday, January 27th, 2010 - 20 Comments

The barrier has finally come down.  Blizzard has admitted defeat.  The company is now selling WoW gold. /me reads the rest of the announcement. Oh, that kind of gold.  Like the Activision-Blizzard merger, Blizzard has simply taken my breath away with its latest business venture.  In an effort to expand the World of Warcraft brand to as ...
